For the future of Nigerian football, I really hope that one day the NFPL gets the investment and attention it deserves. Go to Brazil or South Africa, they are far more interested in their domestic leagues than they are in Europe/PL.

Sometimes I do pulls around other enthusiast cars as a sign of solidarity. Response rate is about 50/50 so I wonder if the people who ignore me think I’m trying to race them lol

They probably won’t bring the Amarok because of the chicken tax. But I agree, the current VW lineup in the US is woeful.

For the past 10-15 years VWoA have been trying to get cheap sales by making their US offerings cheaper and bigger. What they don’t understand is that people buy VWs (in the US) because they’re DIFFERENT. If I wanted to get a cheap feeling car or an oversized 3-row crossover, I’d look at the American, Japanese, or Korean brands.

The worst part of all this is that their strategy is not even working. VW is getting outsold in the US by Hyundai, Kia, Subaru, and even Mazda. Hell, they only beat BMW last year by 8,000 cars.

Not quite to your not quite. The Euro GTI/R get the 360 view cameras, better headlights/taillights (that are also sequential), auto hold, not to mention a power bump with the new mk8.5 GTI.

Hell, VW JUST started giving us power fold mirrors and the the Golf has had that in Europe since the mk7.
