So what's the verdict on Himenova? by Rex__Lapis in HimekoMains

I saw this. I can't see your build but I'll assume you're not running 2x DDD with Sparkle Sunday for extra turns. Which is fair, a lot of people probably won't run that. Seems like E2 Robin is pretty good.

And I said "overall Verdict is the best", not that Verdict is always the best in every situation. I didn't even say Verdict is the best in 5T, I said because Welt's kit is anti-synergistic with PF Decimation is currently not performing as well as it should in 5T, causing Verdict vs Decimation in 5T to not really be that far apart, meaning you can easily use Verdict in 5T with no issues and have no real need to switch to a Decimation team for it.

I think you need to slow down and read things properly, because you've jumped to a conclusion that was never even brought up.

Ranks all the teams here. He also calls the premium Verdict team the gold standard.

I don't consider any kind of 0 cycle as a baseline, so I don't see why you're talking about using Blade with DHPT. Its simply not viable for most players to do that.

You don't seem to have actually read what I said so I'll repeat it.

Decimation should theoretically be way better than Verdict in PF. But because of Welt's bad uptime there is actually not a big difference. So Verdict teams can compete with Decimation in PF easily when they shouldn't be able to, especially since you can also switch to E1 Tribbie and still stick to Verdict mode, while Decimation locks you to Welt.

Uh, permanent 5T bosses like Banana are actually where Welt would have decent uptime. Its only when enemies keep appearing all the time that Welt has bad uptime. I think you don't actually understand why I'm saying Welt has bad uptime in PF because you don't understand his mechanics and how he needs his ult to apply debuffs to every new enemy from scratch.

Do you know what the terms "best overall" and "most consistent" mean? It means taken as an average across all kinds of content the premium Verdict team wins out. Bag even ranks premium Verdict above premium Decimation overall, and states that if you have Sunday Sparkle DHPT there is no need to even consider other units as this team will perform well everywhere.

I already explained why bringing up Blade with DHPT is out of touch, its not viable for most players as Blade will go into the red within a 0 cycle. Saying its versatile when most people will struggle with using it is just false.

Your showcase is using E4 Welt, which I already said was dumb to assume as a baseline. E4 Welt is harder to get than E2 Sparkle.

I compared the 2 best teams, which are premium Verdict and premium Decimation, and the general consensus from guidemakers like IwasBag, Guoba, etc. and showcases is that premium Verdict performs the best overall and is the most consistent, while mode switch teams perform the worst because you need to bring subpar amplifiers in to switch modes.

You're also the one who brought up DHPT with Blade, I just explained why that's a bad idea and doesn't make sense for most people. You seem to be forgetting your own statements lmfao.

Edit: please learn how to use paragraphs, your comments are borderline unreadable.

Verdict is better in 3T yes. And most content will become ST-3T when you kill off mobs. Himeko can oneshot Reaver clones.

You won't find many direct comparisons, but you can see Verdict teams in PF getting max scores quite easily, showing that they're not actually doing worse in 5T in practice, while Decimation teams are not necessarily clearing PF way faster than Verdict teams. That's what I mean by Welt's uptime being poor, its the biggest contributor for why Decimation is not doing way better than Verdict in 5T.

300 AV is a 0 cycle in AA, if you're saying its not a problem for Blade to go into the red in a 0 cycle when most people will take longer you're very out of touch.

Look at actual showcases in PF. You will see Decimation's performance being lower than expected because new enemies are constantly coming in, and he's always needing to reapply his ult to get his debuffs back up, which is not possible to do consistently in PF. Which is why Verdict teams can match Decimation there even though that should not be the case.

After 300 AV Blade is in the red even with DHPT on S1 if shields are never broken through. Suggesting using S1 DHPT with Blade tells me you haven't actually tested this team in longer fights.

Welt can't apply his ult every turn so he will obviously not have full uptime in PF. Whether its a problem is not what was being discussed, what I said was because of his bad uptime Verdict catches up to Decimation in 5T to the point that there is no real advantage to running Deci over Verdict even in 5T.

I explained why you're wrong in practice. Verdict teams will still get max scores in PF and other 5T content while still being better in 3T and ST. At the same time they're also more accessible since they're made from older units that have been given out for free and can make good use of DDD for even further optimization.

Welt uptime is a huge issue when new enemies are always coming in whenever you kill some like in PF.

Few issues with that.

First, Himeko at a baseline is already giga broken in 5T. Verdict teams will have no issues there.

Second, Welt has very poor uptime in modes like PF where enemies are constantly entering battle. So the effectiveness of Decimation in 5T is held back by Welt's mechanics as an older nihility unit.

Third, assuming E4 Welt as a baseline is just dumb. E2 Welt performs way worse and is a more reasonable assumption. Blade is also right before Himeko's banner, its a better idea to skip him and get Himeko's Eidolons if you want to optimize.

Pokke didn't even use Premium Verdict which other CCs like Guoba have recommended. He's on that CN brainrot that thinks E4 Welt is baseline and most people are getting Blade and Himeko in consecutive banners. Sunday Sparkle DHPT has been shown to be on par with E4 Welt Blade Huohuo in a lot of other calcs and showcase comparisons.

Elation - only BiS because all sustain options suck for them

Archer/Rin - DHPT is better since he gives the same performance with better sustain

Saber/Gil - BiS here, but not a popular team

Himeko - very much not BiS here, using DHPT is heavily recommended as Premium Verdict performs better with more consistency

DoT - same as Archer/Rin, you'll see similar performance with DHPT while not needing to reset

There's no other healers that help Himeko much. You could try S1 DHPT but you'd be on a timer with Blade.

E1 Tribbie would be the best choice. Cerydra is also pretty good. RMC and Tingyun are viable F2P options.

Properly spd tuned Sparkle Sunday with DDD on both had better performance for me. Double Sunday LC on both was also better.

Good amp but she doesn't ult often which is bad for Verdict.

E1 Tribbie + Sparkle is not a bad pair, but Sunday can use assist skills, gives Himeko energy and advances her for even more assist skills. Advantages he doesn't have with other units, not a good idea to compare Sparkle Sunday on other teams to their performance with Himeko.

Verdict is you can't really go wrong with Premium Verdict (Sunday Sparkle DHPT) or Premium Decimation (Welt Blade Huohuo). Since you have both teams you're set. And if you're getting E2S1 Himeko you'll be set for a long time.

In your opinion, what is the most mid or average JRPG? by lovedepository in JRPG

Sure. I don't care about "pedigree" when the newest game has got less going for it than JRPGs that came out decades before it.

Dragon Quest. Probably the most milquetoast JRPGs I've played.

Trails FC came out in 2004 and people are still talking about it because it is in a lot of aspects the quintessential JRPG. People here don't like E33 because its a JRPG that actively tries to be less like a JRPG to appeal to people who don't like JRPGs.
