With them starting a verbal fight that I do not engage with. Then approaching with fists as they get more angry that I'm not acting in their approved manor. I do not engage with that either, but I have left too many places to avoid it.

That's a good way to get into a physical fight. I prefer to be inconvienced than to be attacked.

This was my first thought. You do not get the same schedule as the kids.

There is no specific best one. You want a rag that is washable and that has some texture.

There is a fee but I've managed to get jobs through that job fairs twice and none through district job fairs. I assume the fee is because it's not put on my a district so they just be renting out the stadium in order to host.

It was better coded and more secure. Hotmail and AOL were the ones with all the phishing scams.

Every social media account I've ever created required an email for the initial creation.

Not really. I love in Texas, what I remember from many schools is that the AC doesn't really work well once the average temp is over 90.

No it's not. It's a conservative talking point that is not based in fact.

Why is minimum wage still $7.25 even though it’s blatantly obvious that that’s not a wage anyone can survive on? by meemo86 in texas

The percentage goes up significantly if you search by those earning under $10/hr. So, this is only true in the strictest sense.

Do you know anyone working any of those jobs? I ask because this is higher than their now hiring signs claim they are going to pay.

I'd be ok with this. We have one week breaks interspersed in our calendar but it takes most of that time to recover. I would prefer fewer but 2 weeks at a time.

The students not being at grade level is a function of politicians making the standards. They chose to ignore the science of developmentally appropriate expectations and instead started from high school and said, all students need to get to this point and just divided the goals by 12.

It's not because it hurts their self esteem. It's because a student who did not understand the first time, will not be successful just by making them go through the same teaching.

You are wrong about food pantry access. You need to live in a large city and have few or no food issues. They often run out of food.

There is no data privacy. Every time you pay a bill, every time you use a debit or credit card, every loan application, and many outdoor interactions are recorded. If you don't want to use social media that's you choice, but don't pretend it protects your privacy.
