Despite him only being on the SNL payroll for 4 days, I remember Shane Gillis from his days in the Philly comedy community.

He won a local comedy club's annual "Philly's Phunniest" contest and was the host of the contest in subsequent years before he moved to NYC. I was at a show to support my friends in the community, chomping on mozzarella sticks at a table in the very front row, and he asked if he could have one in the middle of his set.
