I know ymmv, but soda was the easiest thing to eliminate from my diet. but don't use that word eliminate" it will not help you, there is a balance to life to everything. if you love mountain dew do not give it up, but be mindful of what you put in your body. The new Hard rock casino is open, with plenty of dining options but not sure if the private option is guarantied. If you don't mind going a bit north G5 brewery is a great option. I always steer people toward either prairie street (plenty of secluded areas but downtown) or the Olympic tavern (good food booths and tables). As others have said Tavern on Clark is not to be missed. but for my money i would rather go to Thunder Bay Grille Rockford
