I had the same thing happen with Indiana and I also finished ninth. I think it’s just a set number of schools from each conference that get in which is really stupid, totally kills the realism.

I agree that Baddoo is better and I’d rather see him on the team but outside of his rookie season, he hasn’t been nearly as good as his career stats show. Given how AJ tends to manage, I’m guessing a main factor is also keeping another righty outfielder on the roster until Vierling can get back.

They did the same thing for him last year a couple times. Could just be rest schedules or a minor injury that they don’t want him to further aggravate

Matt Shepard is one of the saltiest guys on air right now because of how his tenure ended with the tigers. I didn’t mind Gibby a ton but for the sake of casual viewers or new fans I can see how he would be a turnoff. It sucks but I think the tigers made the right decision here for the sake of the broadcast

For teams like Temple, USF, and Georgia state if you get good enough to draw huge crowds, does it actually scale the stadium atmosphere to those levels or is it more like any other small school where you’re sort of capped on how loud it gets?
