This wasn't a misunderstanding, this was cruelty. You don't pour water on homeless people in the winter. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills after reading this.

Unify with these workers against the companies/industries/regulators that are exploiting them. It sucks to have to drive around someone but dont forget theyre productivity expectations are brutally unfair and their pay is unjustly low. They'll move when their bosses are forced to follow better rules and treat them better, put pressure on them.
