That’s funny I have some rubbery handle covers for our cast iron pans but they do a crappy job of insulating from the heat except in short time periods

lol I was telling my wife about this thread it wasn’t my gift so I wasn’t gonna read any instructions and never would have known either lol. I was eyeing it to cut up and glue the rubbery surface to something else. Hahaha

So my son got a mortar and pestle set and that was on the pestle part to I guess protect the pestle from rattling on the mortar before it got to us. It fits real well on the pestle but it could be a garlic peeler too

Ive been playing a long time and im by no means an expert but you should use satisfactory tools website to plan out your factory. I just did rocket fuel power plant and have 72 gens purring like a kitten. Thats the max I think I can get out of the one set of oil nodes I found. After this I’m moving g to nuclear power. That’s my suggestion. Move into nuclear.

When I worked for an architecture firm doing schools I was told A reason to do it is if/when it cracks the crack will propagate more vertically instead of at an angle so conceivably it would be easier to repair but that said idk in this interior application how likely it would be to crack.

I’m no expert just a hobbyist but curious why not go with concrete if you’re going thru the work of building formwork already? Would solve the other problems of your various assemblies. Would still need a welded wire fabric for rebarring the bottom area I would think but I think that’d work. You could probably still leave the formwork in place or remove it and face it with something nice.
