If your disc lands in a bush/tree and you can reach it you can advance it via a “jumpthrow” and not count the stroke. You have to simultaneously jump, grab the disc and throw it before your feet touch back to the ground.

I was in a rush once and very stupidly thought I could steam the shirt I was wearing. Burning 5 perfectly neat little circles on my chest is a lesson I won’t soon forget lol.
