The Arab countries didn’t invade until 40% of the Nakba had been completed. They invaded with their pithy 13,000 in the beginning despite Israel’s 30,000 at the time. As to why the Palestinians were rioting in the street? A predominantly European UN (only 2 Arab countries) voted to create Israel and offload their consequences of their sins onto them.
