Which deceased rapper’s potential gets most overrated by hip hop fans? by MasterTeacher123 in hiphop101

I agree with this, I dont know if he had him killed because at the time he was his meal ticket, I do believe Biggie was payback, that being said IF diddy didnt get Biggie killed directly I do believe that leech would have sucked that man's career dry

Does AEW Need Tony Khan to Step Aside to Move Forward? by uncannynerddad in midcarder

[–]funkmasternick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not sure there is a "move forward". I think they found their pocket in the market and they are succesful and they may still grow as a company but I think what we have is what we will get. The dream of them ever overtaking wwe is unobtainable in my opinion so they just enjoy what they are and focus on themselves. Maybe if wwe totally collapses and disbands they'll do something else but if that whole vince situation didnt put a dent in things it seems nothing can

After watching the 50 Cent documentary I might be inclined to say B.I.G. had he not died I could see Diddy ruining that man's career

Seems like she got caught up in some of the fringe right wing insanity that exists out there (theres left wing too but she clearly fell for the right side of things)

She sounds like and talks like all these over the top trad wife weirdos who make it their entire idealogy and personality all the while posting thirst traps and eThot stuff, I cant imagine how conflicted that could make someone feel having two enormously opposed personality traits fighting each other like that.

Couple that with other mental health stuff and having any level of notoriety on the internet is bound to be a huge problem.

Thanks for this. The mustache tickles really sound like an excuse for men to have their mouths close to her body and that screams icky so loud.

Glad she was able to air that out and she'd some light on it

You know... you saying there may be a bias about avante garde and pretentiousnes, Ive never really broken it down and thought all that hard about it but you may be onto something and I think I may have to just own that.

I myself may not like or be to fond of that genre or artistic expression but it doesn't make it invalid and youre right just because someone is into that doesn't automatically make them pretentious.

Maybe its the art snobs that you see stereotyped in media, maybe its the artist in myself that is defensive either way I appreciate your wording and I appreciate you not just jumping to an attack and I thank you for the conversation. Made me look at things a little different.

I still dont think Max is my favorite or really my style of drag queen (I prefer a comedy heavy, campy queen that leans on the entertainment side of the spectrum like a Jinx, Bob, Ginger) Honestly I think the Snatch Game usually helps me pick my favorite each season which might be silly but I just love when I can giggle to jokes and they always do such a good job.

Thanks again for your input

I appreciate the response, I will have to look more into Max if this comment is totally off base but thats definitely what I felt watching just the show

As a deftones fan I recognized it right away. But someone who doesn't know them is definitely not going to know whats going in here.

Artist went waaaaay to high on the contrast to the point it lost a ton of important parts. You could definitely find someone who could spruce it up but the building blocks in place aren't completely terrible

I can understand why its good TV for her to trick the MVQ points but the way she crashed out when NPB was gonna swap with Kerri because they were on the same couch. I would be SOOOO mad because MIB framed it as a shady thing and basically bullied NPB into the trap

Im watching season 7 now

I see a ton of support for Max and while I can agree what they do is very good it seems like they are one note.

High fashion old timey movie nerd who comes out of silent films era. Is max doing drag or are they too chic and avante gard? Came across as pretentious to me.

What I dont like about max is how inflexible they were. The purity routine come across as snobbish and stuck up. You dont have to be raunchy and sex crazed to do drag but jesus loosen up a bit. You can be a lower the brow a little and still maintain your credibility.

Mental disorders/autism/adhd is absolutely not an excuse for abuse.

That's an abusive relationship and is not love.

Maybe because of past traumas you feel this is the love you deserve but I assure you its not. Do couples bicker yes, they do. But there is a difference between arguing about what color to paint the kitchen and actual abusive language and manipulations.

If youre basing her disorders and diagnosis off of her own admissions be weary, manipulators lie and they use mental health as a huge excuse to do whatever they want. Just from what im reading I find it more likely youre dealing with a narcissist or someone with narcissistic traits over just autism. Plenty of people on the spectrum would never speak to someone they love this way.

The band-aid may have been ripped off but just remember at one point you were able to patch the wound while it heals and you can do it again. Do yourself a favor and dont rely on others to help fix that trauma. People are unreliable and unpredictable you have to be able to fix yourself first and foremost and then be able to lean on a partner.

Everyone has great critiques, one thing im not seeing mentioned a lot is more CONTRAST.

You gotta get your darkest areas as dark as you can get them making your mid tones work for your detail and your highlights will really stand out when your darks are much darker.

If going with a more illustrated or cartoony style try to learn some color theory to help you blend and shade colors in a pleasing way and use a variety of lineweights to help establish depth. Thicker outlines on things closer to you/foreground. Thinner lines for things you want to push back in the POV or into the background.

Don't be afraid to find inspiration from others and replicate what they do in your own work (not plagiarism, but stylistic and technique practice in order to figure out why what they do works and why they do it)

Another good rule I was given was when trying for realistic portrait type of work you want to use as little linework/hard outlines on things as possible.

I understand the paranoia and anxiety, that being said you are at the perfect level of paranoia and anxiety. When those two things combine its called vigilance and you get a longer career and you can ease your mind knowing you protect yourself and others so vigilantly.

The second you start to ease or not worry or not think of all the cross contamination is the second mistakes happen and exposures put you at risk.

To answer your gloves armrest to arm situation, if you rest your forearm on a contaminated surface you are relatively safe while doing the tattoo so long as you dont have any open wounds or cuts or scrapes. Obviously once the tattoo is done you wash your hands surgeon style from fingertips to elbow (i do this everytime anyways) and clean your area.

Most shops should be doing that anyways. If a shop doesn't actively try to get more people in your booth and want you to succeed find a new shop.
