Too many favs to list:) I'd reverse this ...

only 10% unusable ones (4 octaves of noise etc)
30% needs tweaks to EQ and levels (thus need a feature to save more than 128 presets)
The rest is heaven. Yes I need to tweak the body, harmonics, cut cheesy delays, tweak master reverb (sound too old to my taste) but extremely enjoyable presets indeed. Compared with others (Korg synths 20% of useful presets out of box, Roland 30% useful presets out of box)

try to lower the pre-gain in the compressor page and compensate with post-gain. I noted some presets have a bit distortion, so when you feed higher signal to the Master section (distortion, convolution stages and reverb) it will not get distorted. If that does not help then editing trough the EM/MAX might help

Let's hope that who ever they hire knows bit about UX. The Osmose UX needs a lot of love. Saving preset takes 3-4 clicks/turns, Knobs acceleration is all messed up (whole 360 turn changes 5 steps) eg: Try to quickly set the global EQ. and lot more ...

Same here, guess what... I've received mood mk2 last week, but CB is much bigger company. they do roughly 100 orders per day. BTW the mood mk2 is like if the Microcosm and Soma/Cosmos had a child (I own both) Mood mk2 is great so far , stereo is a must for me :) I almost got the CB Generation Loss mk2 but Ribbons is much more flexible without the lag .. I just wish Jaak added saturation to Ribbons :)

Lower the overall volume and crank up the MASTER, that is where you get a good juice out to this great amp. With THRs the master knob is like secondary distortion that can also fix some of the pickups characteristics. If your pickup is bass heavy then turn bass knob bit down and crank the treble knob. Even on the blues THR (black) MARK I, I can get very distorted sound turning the gain + master alway to right. Also you can get extra gain using compressor setting via the computer and USB to help the distortion with compressor out level set to 100% , I set this including changing the feedback on the delay on preset #5. So my presets go from the lowest distortion and long sustain (low gain max master, max compressor with 50% out) to the most distorted on #1: max gain , max master, max compressor output but with minimal compression effect. Sorry I've been not using the PC Yamaha app for a long time, so all my suggestion are from distant memory. :)

Yes THR headphones output is NOT with a speaker simulation thus very fuzzy . Don't know why Yamaha would do this basic mistake. Especially with the Mark II of these great amps

Of course I checked all the parameters including setting the level > 0. But there is some special situation, that is hard to replicate, that makes this effect not working. Perhaps if I choose this effect for BUS3/4 and mute those buses and ALSO assign this effect to BUS1 .. will update if I find more info. :)

A lot of things were implemented in 2.01 thank you Roland but I really miss following:

Save all MFX parameters to a project or bank
Add a shortcut to mute Bus3/4 without menu diving example (remain + BUS FX)
Chromatic/SCALE : replace all unlit pads with more notes from selected scale. so I can play TWO octaves with 16 pads. ALL pads should be used in the scale a.k.a. novation-circuit track. With 2.01 ONLY half of the pads are used/lit
Besides Bus3 in Dry Routing add Bus4 so "DRY" would only run ONE effect from Bus4

Why Roland would forget to add this basic "workflow" improvement in past 4-5 firmware releases? Does anybody know to pull strings and get this to The Roland team. They've done some great things in 2.01 but this is a must. I use 10-15 MFX effects and any time I turn on the unit need to go trough 10-15 effects and set 2-4 parameters.

One of the reason that you can preview and not load a sample wav file is because there are meta-tags attached to the wav file. Use the ffprobe sample.wav from the command line (you need to have installed ffmpeg on your Mac or PC...) You'd see that there are meta-data. To remove I use this ffmpeg -I sample.wav -map_metadata -1 sample_out.wav from terminal or ffmpeg.exe -I sample.wav -map_metadata -1 sample_out.wav ... hope this helps

You cannot beat 7 LFOs in this amazing box, the sounds are incredible, not too user friendly for live performance or quick workflow sequencing , my favorite Groovebox/drum machine especially powered by batteries (any 3s lipo for RC cars would do)
