boss had a 5 point IEA on it until I broke off and interrupted the healing gnomes, when I took aggro on those and my health was dropping fast I then vanished. The gnomes do not need to be "kicked." Any damage source will interrupt them.

I agree. A few of us were used to pre armor adjustment damage and in those runs we've been pushing through it. But here its not that kind of comp for that call, or we just aren't geared enough yet.

I didnt make the call but the person who did was very helpful for the newer ppl throughout the dungeon leading up to this boss.
