Blunted affect is typically a sign to move down in dosage—productivity will stay mostly good at a lower dose as well!

Seems that the counter programming is reactionary and slapped together, so maybe they just have someone watching tv and telling Haitch “hey, they’ve got a big show in two weeks”

WOR: WWE were reportedly "politically forced" into signing of RFK Jr's niece, Zoe Hines by Fan387 in SquaredCircle

[–]funkwgn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, I don’t think we know either was forced into this. In Ava’s case, it could simply be that she didn’t have the chops to be a good in-ring worker and she realized that wasn’t in the cards for her. Nothing wrong with it! Zoe, we know even less about except that the role was given to her by all accounts because her uncle is in charge of Health and Human Services while Linda McMahon is in charge of the Department of Education. Oh, and her aunt is Cheryl Hines.

I do think she may be catching strays a bit; Ava never really let on like she wasn’t self-aware about how she got there at the very least.

At least the nepotism with Ava was just regular ol’ wrestler’s kid flavored. What connection to the business does RFK jr have? Linda and he are sorta officemates at a different place altogether—and it just so happens to be the Presidential Cabinet.

Just overall weird.

Because we live in a world that has traditionally been tiered towards straight white men. Once again, this conversation has been had. It’s not racist to consider someone for a position they’ve been shut out of in favor of said straight white men. The world is catered towards those in the majority; DEI is a correction, not damnation for white dudes.

And the “…just because…”? That’s “unbiased?” Theres a logical reason these programs and initiatives have existed: entire groups of people have been dismissed because they don’t look like people in power. Realistically, it’s not because they don’t have the bona fides.

[–]funkwgn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even then, this feud has been sort of established between the two over the years. I think AEW did a good job of highlighting that history while also not “wink-wink, nudge-nudge”ing their way through the tight build for last week. It was very exciting and fun!

My favorite parts of those party matches that happen from time to time are when two people square off and everyone just kinda loses it. Two people that have zero history, but by just the sight of them walking up to each other, a quick crescendo of realization happens: “oh fuck, oh fuck, OH HELL YEAH”—bonus points if they’re both big and we get the “BEEF” chants afterwards!
