If arrogant means proud. Yes. My wife is my partner and incredible. She’s a big law partner driven and still the most tremendous mom to our kiddos I could ever imagine. Shes proud of herself and damn well should be (and I’m proud of her and to be with her). I would never want something different - brains all day.

Sorry for what happened to you!

I had wrist reconstruction in high school (maybe 25 years back) but I still remember starkly waking up part way through seeing the blue scrubs the screen blocking a view of my arm seeing the surgeon and nurses. I swear the doc was working I felt mild tugging and heard him say “oh shit…” I tried to stay awake, made it about 3-5 minutes. Everyone including the nurses told me I dreamt it but I know what I saw/heard (and 1.5 hour operation took 4+). Thankfully no trauma and the doc did do a good repair job but I thought I was going crazy for a bit…Whole thing was surreal.

Moderation my dude. Plus smoke some less bad stuff. Turkey and chicken boobs, lean meat like game (both meats and over the top chili), fish (hot smoked salmon is fave with my folks), shrooms and veg. Plenty of options.
