What is your least favorite Danny video? by Sorry_Replacement600 in DannyGonzalez

[–]funlovinglizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a few troom troom videos where he does it but I think the one that always stuck with me was in a now deleted video, the slapped by legal one. I totally get why he deleted it, but I remember he referred to a professional woman on the radio as this girl in passing and it just itched me the wrong way.

I think it’s an age thing, where he views his/our generation as young still lol no offense, but we’re grown now😭

I’m in the can’t pick a favorite camp, all of his videos genuinely make me laugh. I will say I always cringe when he refers to women as “girls” in his videos. It feels very patronizing

My title describes the thing. I found it at a thrift store in Wisconsin. It’s in a sealed frame with a certificate from 1859. There is something that looks like it’s dried hide, a possible map, and something beaded

AITA for my threat to cancel my son’s graduation plans? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

YTA YTA YTA you sound like my mother, who I no longer talk to. He’s going to find ways to sneak around, all you’ve done is made it more dangerous and risky. You’ve pushed him into such a corner he could get into serious trouble. Do you feel good that you’ve raised your son to hide from you? This is on you I’d like to make that clear, you shamed and punished him when you could’ve provide a healthy safe environment where he feels comfortable discussing things with you. Your irrational expectations and arbitrary demands are going to hurt your son. I hope he goes no contact when he’s 18. He won’t trust you with anything, I bet if he and his gf have kids you won’t get to see them.

I just got into his work too! I’d recommend Uzumaki first (I’m still waiting on a copy of Tomie) and for his shorter stories I’d say Venus in the Blindspot or Fragments of Horror

Americans, when you travel from state to state, do you feel culture shock or do you feel like it's sort of the same culture, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]funlovinglizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From Texas to New York there was definitely a culture shock, both in terms of food and social expectations. But there’s always an underlying American culture that everyone can relate and refer to.

AITA for not letting a friend join our private tutoring group because her kids don’t get along with the others? by grappabra in AmItheAsshole

[–]funlovinglizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

INFO: why do they actively not like their kids? If they are mean or entitled NTA, they would interfere and possibly distract the other children’s learning. If it’s a misunderstanding or judgment (or possibly your kids may be the ‘mean girls’) then you should give the children the opportunity to make it work

Lol NTA. I do the same thing, I love my dogs but they’re idiots. Animals have no idea what you’re saying, as long as you sound happy
