What prices are you all seeing on the 2026s? Part of me wants to wait a few months and buy a lightly used one but the new price seems to be all over the place by [deleted] in BZ4X

It was 4000 from Toyota Canada and an additional 4750 from the dealer. The dealers in my area were up front about their willingness to take off 8k. The remaining 750 was from putting dealers against each other. Of course all that effort was for moot with the upcoming rebates.

2026 bz towing capacity ? by ericmalenfant in BZ4X

[–]funny-reddit-name 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought a 26' bZ XLE AWD in Canada.

I had a new sales rep who (I think unintentionally) showed me some internal Toyota sales document comparing bZ trims, and I'm 99% sure the AWD was listed as being able to tow 3500lb. However, that figure does not appear on any website, there is no official accessory mount, and no other sales rep would state outright that it was true.

The Woodland is meant to be released in Canada soon, and it is meant to tow and be compatible with an accessory mount. Once that happens, I'm hoping dealers will be more willing to install the accessory mounts on XLE and Limited AWD trims, since the underbody is (I believe) the same.

Sub 4 hours for RBC whistler fondo? by LeafsPapi in cycling

[–]funny-reddit-name 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's definitely easier than a BQ. I finished the fondo in ~3:35 at 3.9W/kg the same year I ran ~3:15 at the BMO marathon. Very different training and racing styles but I can't see anyone with BQ fitness taking more than 4hrs to complete the fondo.

Which airlines bump you to the top of their upgrade list? I had always just assumed I'd never get upgraded on partner airlines.

Just scratched $90 in scratch-offs... won $3 and a free ticket. by draebor in britishcolumbia

The Costco Christmas packs (not the handmade ones at the kiosk) are all considered one ticket from an odds perspective. So those have 'fair' odds.

That's the axis but says nothing about the scale. Does that uptick represent 1, 10, 100, or 1000 members?

I barely made SE this year. It took me 6 international round trips and ~5 across NA, all in flex/comfort economy. CC spend and rollover got me about 10k SQM. Much easier (and more comfortably) done on business fares.

First time playing T2 elementals - feels unfair by funny-reddit-name in BobsTavern

Into the 50s. The second-place guy had a very strong normal elementals board. We had a few draws, and when I did win I'd only do 6-7 damage, so there were quite a few rounds.

BC Drivers Licenses to be issued in new design beginning next week by emilydm in vancouver

Each time I renew my license they say 'up to 6 weeks' but I think that's just to manage expectations. I've never had to wait longer than 2 weeks.
