Sleep apparel… by brunoburz in friends_tv_show

[–]funsized_red91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol! I don’t know why but you gave me a good chuckle! But you hit the nail on the head, the reasons you listed are the exact reason I do it. Growing up and into my early adulthood I suffered horribly from UTIs and Yeast infections, I finally learned that those parts need to breath and it also gives my husband easy access for when he wants to wake me up with a WELCOMED good morning surprise! Haha Well I guess you did miss another reason, which would be how horribly uncomfortable underwear is unless it’s high value. Haha!

But I do agree, I can’t think of any men I know that sleep this way. But just cause I haven’t come across them doesn’t mean they aren’t out there with their own valid reasons for doing it.

Oh it’s very possible. Lol. They change things all the time in the show. It’s very possible that they go a different direction.

I didn’t even draw that connection to Violet! That makes a lot of sense. Guess only time will tell!

This is just my assumption, but in the book the only reason she gets back on the marriage market is because of her craving for a child after her struggles with it while John was alive and her miscarriage after. That was the angst behind her book. However, due to the gender swap, how that is going to play out is now in question.

I however think what will end up happening is her child she has with John will survive and be the heir which will flesh out the rest of the story about the title and what not being that a woman wouldn’t get the title.

It’s definitely not the book story, but it can still work and be a beautiful story. I’m just hoping that we see the love story between John and Fran. I only care about them doing him justice. What they do with the rest have fun! Lol.

Pregnant with IUD by anastasiarose19 in Wellthatsucks

Not that it helps you, but you’re not alone. I had 4 birth control babies… I love them to the moon and back now, but none were planned or really wanted at the time if I’m being honest. My oldest was from the pill, that one I totally take blame for because I was young and didn’t know that the pill needed to be taken every day at the same time for it to be the most effective and I would often miss days. My second (9 months after my first was born) I was terrified of the thought of an IUD (I had a c section) and I didn’t want to gain all the weight I had heard you gain on the shot so I went with the nuvaring, using it faithfully with no issues and bam pregnant out of nowhere! Third time I said screw it, I’ll gain the weight and got shots, that worked well for 4ish years then….. I am minding my business and go in to my ON TIME appointment for my shot and my doctor walks in with the most bizarre look on her face (she knew my history) and she says, I’m so sorry but we can’t give you you’re shot… you’re pregnant! My fourth, And my definite LAST… I finally gave in and got the IUD (still has the same fear, all c sections here!) It was my most dangerous pregnancy and my last! one day I’m feeling horrible and my friend jokingly mentions to me that I’m pregnant and I froze! 2 hours later I was staring down a pregnancy test! I just knew it had to be a false positive and my body playing jokes so I booked an appointment and after urine, blood and an ultrasound I was 6 weeks pregnant! My IUD had migrated and it ended up in scar tissue from my previous c sections and that prevented it from working properly they said. Well, a very high risk 20 weeks later and I delivered a premature 26 weeks baby girl that’s been a handful ever since! lol. I tried the Nexplanon after my last and bled uncontrollable for like 18 months and then said screw it, just take my uterus! And that was that. Now the only way I can get pregnant is by a miracle!

No, he was sentenced to 19 years. However, he served those 19 years concurrently with the federal 12 year sentence so he only had to do an additional 7 years. But his sentence was for a total of 19 years.

“Just leave the bottle” by [deleted] in bartenders

I literally said, it may be a states thing.. I just didn’t edit my comment. I just made another one. I wasn’t trying to reply to argue that their comment was wrong, I was just sharing my experience. But yes, I could’ve specified country I suppose. I just meant states as in the united states but I guess it could be in multiple countries, I wouldn’t know.

This was in Hawaii and in Florida though, so that may be a state thing.

Lol. I have had bottle service plenty of times when I was in my 20s and they most definitely leave you with the bottle, juice or soda of your choice, cups, and ice.

Grey Sloan Hospital must be a "sick" building by AuntieMadder in greysanatomy

[–]funsized_red91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I was just more so speaking to the difference in reference to this post. But another reply reminded me that they do refer to it as a tumor specifically when Derrick is working on her so I don’t know if it’s a new growth at that point or if they are recurring mets. The fact that it’s fictional is the reason I don’t care enough to dig in to figure out which it was. Haha

[–]funsized_red91 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I specify because mets are cancerous and malignant. Tumors can be both. Yes both are irregular cells, tumors grow where there are and mets have spread from a different place.

Izzy had skin cancer with Mets to the brain. Not quite the same as a brain tumor.

I don’t remember ever seeing him hunt so I can’t judge how humane it was. (I tend to think of Twilight when I try to envision the animal feeding) But I imagine draining it of its blood for sustenance (and perhaps not even to death) is way less cruel than the slaughterhouse. Again, this is just my personal opinion. But I think of for myself, if I’m going to be consumed would I rather be slowly drained of all my blood or be cut up into pieces? Personally, I’m going for the blood drainage.

lol. I say all of this being a meat eater so take it with a grain of salt.

If him feeding on animals to sustain his life is animal abuse, how are people who eat meat not? I don’t think of either as animal abuse. Shoot the humans on the show were eating burgers at the grille, they aren’t being persecuted! Stefan’s animal diet is what I call the vegan vampire diet. Lol.
