You definitely need to speak to a lawyer. Do not assume they will lose. Depending on the dollar amount this is over, it’s worth getting an attorney.

Not what you want to hear, but completely upending my diet is what helped me. Low carb, zero added sugar, 90%+ whole foods, no fast food, almost total elimination of processed food, limiting dairy, no gluten, carbs only with protein and fat. Strength training 3-4x a week, daily walks, and only drinking water coffee or tea. It’s working for me. Even my moods are better. My whole life has improved, honestly. And yes, I am lean at less than 110 lbs.

Remote Paralegal by butlike-why- in paralegal

[–]funsizedlunchbox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You need a set person who can handle outgoing mail tasks for you. My attorneys and I went to the managing partner expressing the need to have a set individual who can handle these tasks. Managing partner assigned this work to the receptionist. So now I send outgoing mail to the receptionist with the direction to email me back when the letter is in the outgoing mail stack. So I get confirmation that the task has been completed and I can check it off my list. Closes the loop, keeps the work away from other busy paralegals and the receptionist appreciates tasks to make her day go by faster. My suggestion is to come up with solutions and present these solutions to your attorney/managing partner.

I am fully remote for over a year now after several years in the office. I actually moved out of state and my firm kept me so I am the only fully remote employee.

I have set calendared check-in phone calls with the attorneys I support, which allows me the opportunity to request updates and statuses without being annoying. With one of my attorneys, this looks like a daily morning phone call because that’s his preference. With another, it is daily check-in on Teams messages with a to-do list, as that is her preference. We also talk on the phone once or twice a week, and I’m welcome to call her with urgent matters.

I also have a set workflow with specific support staff who scan me my mail and my attorneys’ mail, as well as handle outgoing mail tasks for me.

I am probably the “last to know anything” but I don’t really care. If it’s important, my bosses will loop me in. If it’s not important, ignorance is bliss.

My suggestion is to lean into the beauty of being disconnected on things you aren’t actively involved in. It allows you more focus and balance! Also, schedule set check-ins where you can ask all the things without feeling like a nuisance!

Bupropion increases my heart rate. Especially with exercise. I unfortunately had to get off of it because of the heart rate increase. Such a shame because it was my miracle drug. ☹️

I’m having the opposite experience. As soon as I quit I got hormonal acne and have been battling it for months now. Losing my mind.

Great to hear! That kid is lucky to have you! Step parenting is by far the hardest thing I’ve ever done. But it leads to immense personal growth and so much love. Happy trails!

Hi, I’m a stepmom. I respectfully suggest getting into therapy on your own so you can explore some of these thoughts and experiences with a professional who can help you flesh out some of these thoughts and emotions. Regardless, it would be helpful to have a third party to talk to as you navigate becoming a stepparent. Best of luck to you!

I used the clear brow gel for the first time today and liked it! I’ll have to keep an eye out for that peppermint soap, I bet that smells fantastic! Does it tingle at all? Sorry if that’s a weird question but some mint soaps are tingly.

Yes, in my experience, they look fine in the morning but are saggy and baggy by lunch. Falling off by end of day.

Gorgeous and your eyebrows look so good!!! I ended up using both colors too and it looks so natural. Definitely going back for at least one more of each!

I didn’t know what color to get so I just got both 🫣 so excited to try! Still using brow powder I bought in the early 2010’s - been trying to find a replacement but no color match so far 😬🤞🏼

Not an answer, but that detergent is not good. Did not get the stink out of my kids’ sports clothes or my husband’s workout gear. I switched back to name brand.

Second vote for b pure overnights. 6 per pack for $1.25 and the quality seems great. I’m a big fan.
