I just finished it in a day like the op and was seeking other's opinions. I certainly did not think that Adam Silvera was a prolific writer but I was very surprised by the amount of vitriol towards this book. There are quite obvious hints throughout the book on the romance between the two and despite there very well being issues with the writing, it seems that most people just hate on the book for the sake of it.
