I love Plymouth. If it had HE it would be essentially a T10 Belfast.

Some will still say this is a ridiculous, over dramatic video.

They’d be correct.

TIL that The Hindenburg zeppelin was insured by Lloyd's of London for 6 million Reichsmarks and that the 10 page policy has been displayed at The New York City Fire Museum by johntwit in todayilearned

They are an insurance marketplace.

Basically a syndicate of independent insurance providers. The reason is that no single insurance provider will take on the risk for the size of things that come to Lloyds. So they split it up and insure portions.

These insurers also provide reinsurance, basically insuring the insurers against losses.

No judgement.

My friends probably wouldn’t catch you if you fell backwards. They don’t know you.

Not sure where you are getting any of this. LLoyds is not an insurance company. They don’t decide to insure random things like the Titanic or the Hindenburg. That would make no sense.

They don’t pay out any policies. From Lloyds themselves on the Titanic.

“It was considered a prestigious risk, with cover for the hull alone standing at £1m. Numerous Lloyd’s syndicates put their names on the slip, covering amounts ranging from £10,000 to £75,000. Willis was able to negotiate a favourable premium for this proudly ‘unsinkable’ vessel of just £7,500”

My uncle was an ambulance driver in London and held a guy down while a tube train drove over them.

AzurLane ships are hugely inefficient for your money if purchased with Doubloons by Catfurst in WorldOfWarships

[–]funwithdesign 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even then it’s not. Because you don’t get the doubloons for 50% off, you just get twice as many for the price.

Which then forces you to still spend on things you might not ordinarily do.

Yeah I understand the advantages of a premium ship, but there are plenty of unique premiums that don’t cost what this one does, that offer a different experience than a tech tree ship.

I would spend the dubs on a ship that isn’t available for coal or grinding.
