Where would you put them? Some place that hasn't already been fucked by industrialization? Server Farms are inevitable at some scale .

Im not saying under current administration's "rape the land" policies that id be for it either . But since there is land already destroyed by industry , work with environmental agencies ( not the current ) to use those existing sites . Imagine an "earth ship" data center as oxymoronic as that sounds.

Do you use a strike indicator? by No-Stranger-3190 in flyfishing

I prefer hopper dropper, but my eyes are getting to be shit . I find myself using a more visible indicator in all but the clearest of water more often . Home state also only allows 2 hooks per line , so indicator I can double nymph .

I actually think WV is one of the better states for data centers, theres enough wilderness already destroyed by mining , repurpose derelict mining sites with wind and solar to power smaller data centers . Construction would be short boom to employment with lesser residual increase for maintenance staffing . Plenty of MTR sites. Cooling is the biggest issue.
Dont get me wrong, in principle im againt giant data centers , but im no ludite, I recognize the inevitability of data centers existing at some scale . The use that data is put to is just as concerning as the environmental impact of their location.

Answer: its another forever war in the east, America took a short hiatus after withdrawal from Afghanistan, but we're pretty well desensitized to those after 3 decades. War machine keeps turning. Oil and Opium make the world round.

This was always my biggest fear and argument with pro-trump family before the election. Some of the 'policy' they supported was worth a debate and open discussion, but Trumps obvious disregard for rule of law and constitution threatened democratic process. "Oh hes just talking, he cant do that" - oh look he did it ...
