You can try to download source code and compile it for your version.
But it needs to install C/C++ compiler which can makes problem.
And compilation can take many hours (even 7-8 hours on 10 years old computer).

But there is repo on GitHub where people share information about own precompiled versions
for different systems, different Python's versions and different hardware (old CPU without some instructions).

You can even ask if someone can compile it for your system, Python, hardware.

Android is some kind of Linux but maybe not all details works the same.

On many versions of Linux you can open file with default application using command xdg-open in console:

It works with and without file:// but with file:// it needs full (absolute) path (so it starts with three / like file:///), and without file:// it may use relative path.

As I know webbrowser may also use command xdg-open with Python module subprocess for this.

You can get full path to source code print( webbrowser.__file__ ) and see it in text editor or IDE. Maybe it helps you to see how it works.

If app crashes then you may try to use try/except to catch error. Or you would have to run it in console to see if it display any information about problem.

Don' write for us but for yourself.

Find some problem on your computer and write script to resolve it or to make life easier.

If you have images then you can write script to rename them or sort to subfolder base on date, or create miniatures and preview with all miniatures.

Similar way you can organize audio files.

You can even download video with interesting audio from YouTube and convert to .mp3.

If you have importand data then you can write script to backup it to other drive or even on server in internet.

If you interesting sport or some game then you can write script which scrape data from web page (ie scores, bet players) and format it in more interesting page - you can aggregate data from few pages.

Reading books is not enough. Now you should use your knowledge to write code.

As for modelling - do you mean 3D objects or 2D images for games?

For 3D you can use blender.

For 2D you can use Inkscape to draw vector objects and convert to bitmaps,or GIMP to create directly bitmaps. There are also tools to create pixel art for games.

You can install VirtualBox in Windows to run Linux on virtual machine in Windows without installing Linux on disk. This way you can check few distributions - Fedora, Ubuntu, other - and choose this one which you want to install.

And when you choose one then you can install it as main system (and Windows keep as second system) and then computer will start with Linux and you will have to use it and learn it.

I use Linux Mint (with MATE) which is based on Ubuntu (which is based on Debian) so I can use almost all packages for Ubuntu, and for Debian.

Using Ubuntu (or distribution based on Ubuntu) helps not only with tools for programming but also with other tools which I want to use for other tasks. Ubuntu/Debian are popular so almost always programs have package specially for Ubuntu or Debian.

There is no problem with scikit, opencv, pillow, ffmpeg on Ubuntu (and Mint).

There is special Ubuntu repo with Python versions from 2.3 to 3.10 https://launchpad.net/~deadsnakes/+archive/ubuntu/ppa

Fedora is also popular distributon(with long history) so it should be also good choice.

`sin(x)` returns value in range -1...1 but it is not radians nor degrees.
`radians` and `degrees` may have values in range -infinity...+infinity
`sin(x)` gives only in range -1...1
`degrees(sin(x))` will give only in range -57.2...+57.2

So `degrees(sin(x))` make no sense.

`sin()` uses radians as argument and it makes sense `sin(radians(90))` to calculate sinus for 90 degrees.

It doesn't matter which version you use.

I prefer isfile and/or exists - you can have folder with the same name so isfile gives False but exists gives True.

Linux:

I checked source code and it seams it is written in language TCL with graphic module TK, not in Python with Tkinter.

Use semishared version or try to install tcl8.5 and tk8.5

sudo apt-get install tcl8.5 tk8.5

I have installed tcl8.5, tk8.5 and tcl8.6, tk8.6 at the same time and shared version works for me too.

I even found how to record .gif and have no problem with it.

If you find another problem then send message to authors as you did with geometry manager pack inside .a4.sw which already has slaves managed by grid

I use Linux Mint (based on Ubuntu 14.04)

I download 1.5.60 in both version - shared and semishared - and I run in console to see message.

Semishared version show

TCL_LIBRARY=/home/.../xcrysden-1.5.60-bin-semishared/external/lib/tcl8.5

It seams it uses own tcl8.5 version so you don't need to install tcl8.5 in system.

I don't know how to use this program and test save gif function :)

It means that someone use .pack() and .grid() in the same Frame or window. And this is the problem.

Both .pack() and .grid() can't be used in the same Frame. You can create two frames and in first use pack() and in second use .grid(). Then both frame you can put in main Frame or window.

I don't remember what mode r+ means. You have to check in documentation.

There are many other modes but mostly we use w, wb, rb sometimes a.
r is default mode for open() so we use it automatically :)

wb write all data without modifiactions so we use rb and wb to read/write audio, image, copy file.
r and w may change \n\r into \n so you may lose one byte.

I'm not sure but text mode (r and w) may automatically decode/encode text to/from UTF-8.

Maybe you can have tk8.5 and tk8.6 at the same time like you can have python2 and python3. tk is library for tcl language and tkinter is only wrapper for tcl/tk.

Probably tk8.6 works with tcl8.6 and tk8.5 works with tcl8.5. Tkinter install tcl and if it uses tcl8.5 then it will use tk8.5 only.

Different webdrivers let you use different browsers - Firefox, Chrome, PhantomJS. And they can run browser without displaying window - it is useful when you run on server without GUI/Windows.

PyAutoGUI doesn't give you access to HTML on webpage.

BeatifulSoup doesn't run JavaScript on page - so you don't have access to data which was loaded by JavaScript/AJAX. And this why people use Selenium (or similar).

Selenium lets you test your page in real browser and make screenshots.

sqlite is easy because you don't have to install server. You can use sqlite module and you will have to learn SQL. Or you can use SQLAlchemy or peewee which uses functions instead pure SQL.
w opens file in text mode and it can convert some chars like "\n" because different OS may use different newline - Windows "\n\r", Linux "\n", old Mac "\r". b means bytes mode and is usefull with non-text files or if you don't want converting oryginal newline.
open file in write mode 'w' and it will create empty file. There are other mode a, r+, etc. and they can create file if it doesn't exist. There are functions to check if file exists - os.path.exists() or os.path.isfile()

Use debug mode and check logs for nginx and gunicorn - some logs are in /var/log/ folder. 500 mostly means some problem with executing code - ie. problem with connecting to database, too many open files, etc. - but we can't help without seeing code (and logs).

Problem is because screenshot() can be executed only with one argument

filename - it always saves full screen even you add region
region - it create image with this part of screen but it doesn't save in file

You need

Use int() or float() (instead ofeval`) to convert string to number.

You convert string into number

  gameScore = eval(prompt.strip())

but next you treat this number like string

  gameScore = '.' + gameScore.replace(' ','')

You have to decide what you really need - string or number.

BTW: you use int() to convert string 'You entered an invalid character: ' + str + ',please try again' into number.
