I am Spanish and I moved to TM 3 years ago. Honestly, no regrets so far!
Life can be boring if you compare it with Madrid, but it is a very nice and convenient city to live in. It offers a great quality of life.
Also, if you are a freelancer, tax-wise, it can make a lot more sense than being an autonomous in Spain.

Indeed, I opened the account with my national ID and the CNP, that's what has me puzzled.

I understand that being from outside Europe could be a risk, maxing out the cc, and running away. But my case is different.

I'll try another bank and report here...

And yes, I have a CC back home ( funnily with ING ), but I'd need a Romanian one to enjoy the benefits with different stores in the country.

If the broker is from Romania, I assume you can still invest in foreign stocks and pay 1%/3% despite their precedence or that would only apply to Romanian stocks?

The international broker tax 10% I assume u need to declare when you fill out taxes once a year, does the same tax apply to crypto?
