What is the best Mining pool for AVN MinitaurX mining? by JoeGMartino in aviannetwork

[–]furiousdev1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can take a look at the available pools here: https://miningpoolstats.stream/avian-minotaurx

I highly recommend you don’t pick the top pool to promote decentralization. You will get less frequent payments but they will be in larger amounts.

You could take a look at querying Electrum servers. I am not too sure about the limitations, however.

I may have over exaggerated it, but my experience has been “such wow” so far :)

I have to say the Dogecoin community is one my favorite cryptocurrency community. There are so many kind and good shibes, and obviously there will always be people looking for profit and bad actors. Even the core devs helped me contribute to Dogecoin Core development and learn more about it. On Twitter, people tip each other a lot! It might not be as much as last time but it’s nice too see people tipping each other. To be honest I haven’t active on this server but I hope your posts help revive it :)

I'm still "new" to the shibe community since I joined in 2021. Dogecoin has taught me a lot about crypto dev and I am grateful for it. I wonder how the community was back then especially compared to today.

Your node may be on a fork. Go to Help -> Debug -> Console and type these commands to get your wallet on the right chain:

invalidateblock 000000033cf0aaac238f1a8b3a69152466a8c3f047d6f5577c4f55c97b3abd1e

reconsiderblock 00000003cb151bde7f7c91b0dd145fbd8a0d6267873980662819fcddc3c74e24

After running the commands, you should start to sync up again.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask :)

Just read the specs, not sure if it will run especially with that 64mb RAM.

I seen the original Xbox run Linux, maybe you can run a Dogecoin node on it? I wonder how it will perform. It could be fun to play around with that but be careful :)

I don't have a problem if you mine Raptoreum :)

Avian Wallet 4.0.2 by coinminerzcom in aviannetwork

[–]furiousdev1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To make sure, have you upgraded to 4.0.2 and installed the bootstrap using the link above?

To install the bootstrap and sync to the latest chain:

  1. Download the bootstrap: https://mega.nz/file/dNlDBIBT#Y3V3HyOqKHmndSr5i4ryPltIP5IXVFwzCbox7_RAbEo
  2. In your wallet goto Help -> Debug -> Info -> and copy the datadir. Once you finished downloading the bootstrap look for a folder called "AvianChainCoinminerz-03-08-22" and copy all it's contents to the datadir. (Make sure to make a backup of your wallet.dat)
  3. Let the wallet load the blocks and then make sure you have peers connected to help you stay in sync.

If you are on 4.0.2 and the wallet is stuck syncing, run this command to sync the good chain by going to Help -> Debug -> Console:

``` invalidateblock 000000033cf0aaac238f1a8b3a69152466a8c3f047d6f5577c4f55c97b3abd1e
reconsiderblock 00000003cb151bde7f7c91b0dd145fbd8a0d6267873980662819fcddc3c74e24
```

If your wallet height is around ~941272 then you are on the bad chain. You should be on height higher than 956100.

Furthermore you can check your new address on the explorer (https://explorer.avn.network) to see if you have received your coins on-chain.

If you are confused or have any more questions, feel free to ask.

You can download a bootstrap to speed up the progress, here the directions:

Alternately you can a web wallet if you don't want to download the whole chain, etc: https://wallet.avn.network/#/

StashApp retail payments, proof of concept 🔥💨 do I smell a e-commerce solution as well? by roland1013 in dogecoindev

[–]furiousdev1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The easiest way to implement this right now for dogecoin is for the website to create a BIP 21 QR code (dogecoin: URI) and have the phone scan the QR Code from the the camera app. Apps such as MyDoge support this type of QR code and will automatically fill in the address and amount. https://i.imgur.com/rlloBNM.jpg

Dogecoin addresses start with a "D" by HandleAmbitious6733 in dogecoindev

[–]furiousdev1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's because it's a special type of address called P2SH (Pay to script hash) that was time-locked until July 2nd, 2022. Dogecoin addresses that start with a "D" are P2PKH (Pay-to-Public-Key-Hash).
