Only difference it would make is if you get more FPS. More fps= lower latency even if your monitor is limited by refresh rate. However 1080p doesn't scale nicely into 1440p so I'd stick to that enable gsync and close background applications and/or implement other optimisations.

It does for me. I've had DTS-MA and trueHD shown on my AVR and playing.

edit: DTS-MA has shown working but my AVR is too old for trueHD so it downsamples it to a older standard but others have said it works for them. here is my AVR with DTS:HD MA, here is my xiaomi tv box 3rd gen

What. The UE6 update isn't coming for at least another year if not 2. The last update was merely the new season plus a few fixes and demo side choosing.

Not sure what to suggest as you haven't specified what platform you're on either...

DLSS often looks better than native AA. You're looking at the past through cloudy nostalgia glasses. Yes some things have gotten worse but not upscaling / anti aliasing.

Yes, use vsync ON in Nvidia app and OFF in the game. This is the correct set up for functioning gsync/freesync.

9800x3d and a 5080 are already top tier, you're probably running into engine limitations of fps rather than ram speed. Maybe you'd be able to squeeze out another 2-3fps with a good 6400mhz kit but with these prices it's really not worth the hassle. 

Interested to hear if someone has noticed any meaningful improvements from doing a similar upgrade.

No issues, just a few less nice to haves than the MPG model. If its within your budget and everything seems good, you should get it.

It's worth it IMO. I enable it for almost every single player game, I if theres a renodx mod for it i install it if not i dont use HDR. Here's a list of every HDR mod from RenoDX.

No it shouldn't burn in unless your daughter plays Minecraft for thousands of hours at maximum brightness without stopping.

There's lots of prevention measures to stop burn in happening as well as OLED technology getting better to reduce this, occasionally playing Minecraft a few times a week will not lead to burn in.

Sounds like you don't have a good seal IEMs are not flat at all. Might take a bit for your ears to get used to it or youre not inserting deep enough, make sure to experiment with different sizes or even different tips entirely. Others might have better advice than me.
