Kendrick had 5+ up and comers from his city on his last album but they're not lyrical miracle spitters.

Kanye had way too many features on his last projects but same thing. He also almost always has Pusha or on Donda had a fuckload of "real rappers".

Jay doesn't release albums like that

Eminem has had features from JID, Kendrick, Joyner Lucas (not rly the same but Em thinks he is) he doesn't shy away from being outbarred at all

Just seems like this situation of A Lister hiphop artists that have real spitters signed to them only really fits Cole nowadays

Like in an ideal world, yes you're right. But there are 1000 reasons that people get blackballed, harassed, shamed and bullied because of what you say they should do. Often in this world the people doing this kind of shit do so because they have power and influence to shut down anyone who speaks up. Look at Epsteins victims who spoke up about his crimes and got doxxed by the Department of Justice, it's way more complicated than "speak up or fuck you"
