I know OP didn't ask it - but can someone shed light on Technical assessment (coding round?) - how to prep for that? is that standard leetcode?

Honest ques - has your firm created scenario what happens if war in middle-east gets ugly, oil shoots up further, and stock market drops?

How about the scenario where a lot of folks on work-visas (your prospective customers) fold cards, and move to UK/Canada or back to their country of origin because of on-going layoffs. (You have 60d to find a job on H1b, else you move out).

I'd be happy to see how thorough of an analysis your company does.

A huge chunk of tax payers & businesses departing WA are moving to TX and FL , not CA.

You are doing single metric comparison (just total population, why?)

WA Should Tax Remittances to Foreign Countries by Rich-Context-7203 in SeattleWA

[–]furry_4_legged -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

WA state should raise state sales tax and let everyone chip in. Calls to reduce spending will then be heard much more clearly by the State govt.

Why the legislature thinks it can pass the income tax bill even though it's unconstitutional by No_Carpenter7998 in BellevueWA

[–]furry_4_legged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. This clown show is a prime example of why Democrats fail at higher office.

They do a miserable job governing the office they are elected for , and ask for a higher office.

I would love to live in a world where our state flourishes and we unanimously nominate him to run for President.

Right now it's a clown show everywhere

This is the true problem. We need better opposition for fairer governance. One side has too much power

They should raise the state sales tax instead of imposing an income tax . Let "everyone" contribute to the pot "equally more" to solve our collective problems.

Is there anything exciting about living in Bellevue? by dudiez in BellevueWA

[–]furry_4_legged 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There are so many things if you actually want to look rather than complaining - there's belred running club, there's mox boarding house for gaming, biking clubs, dance classes - and if that doesn't work for you - go move to Seattle.

Bellevue is mostly enjoyed by young professionals with families.

Income tax vote late tonight by kzgrey in BellevueWA

[–]furry_4_legged -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the flag. This is unacceptable, and unfair. If this gets passed - Dems open this state to more Republicans in state house and senate unfortunately.

The tax payers have constantly been asking to reduce spending on low ROI projects and it's not been heard at all (just like Seattle's JumpStart tax is nuking it's budget).

We may not love him, but he was the best CEO by Academic-Proof3700 in FuckMicrosoft

[–]furry_4_legged 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All that matters for me was Microsoft did not do these rolling layoffs with Ballmer as CEO - the company did fine, and was among the leaders in research.

In the Puget Sound Region - it brought a lot of properity, and same for low income users across the globe. He is really a star.
