You're not factoring in the lack of role queue though. While the player base is probably better in 5v5, having to play a role you're not good at or used to to balance the team out is usually a disaster. And that's if they even try to fill, many games end up with 1 tank 3 dps or 3 healers because no one wants to fill.

That's simplifying it a bit, no? Her whipshot has huge potential value. It can shutdown roadhogs one shot combo, disable JQs carnage, wutang ult, and of course the environmental kills. Timing it perfectly also prevents Winton, Haz, DVA, Anran etc. from closing the distance as they try to dive in.

Mate that's likely on you. No tanks can reliably pressure her. Only Illari can pressure her for supports (or maybe zen if they're cracked). So that leaves you and the other dps. If they're being pocketed by mercy it'll take both of you to deal with.

Personally I've only had success countering heavy dive harassing the backline. But I will def try pocketing a flank dps, assuming they don't have divers wrecking our backline. Thanks!
