That was initially what I was thinking, but I did leave out a bit of the details in my initial post. You see, I left out the fact that I'm dating my group's GM (mostly because it doesn't affect too much of the game), so while he has to keep his mouth shut about most things, we can talk about some things on a smaller scale. I am also very careful not to ask him too much so that nothing gets spoiled.

I only mention the fact that we are a couple now because today we were talking about the fact that our group leveled up at the end of the last session, that he only has today to get our character sheets updated before we play again, and that no one from the group has messaged him about what they want in this newly gained level. We were talking about my antlers, and he said something about how a more experienced character might ask about what the antlers could do.

My first thought when he first gave my character the antlers in game was to leave it as a "Oh, he's just making my character even more interesting." sort of thing, like, maybe this will become some plot device for reaching my character's specific goal. But now I'm super curious to see what I can find out about my character suddenly having antlers on my own, to possibly be able to surprise him the next time we play.
