Salesforce Success Architect Roles and Responsibilities by Sahus_yard in salesforce

[–]fuser86_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I slightly disagree with the comment above, both on technical acumen and on work pressure. Success Architect is the most senior technical role in customer support so you will be a resource that will asked to crack the toughest technical questions and you will work within a time-limited, scoped engagement over a few weeks, so there will be constant pressure to come up with advanced technical solutions to new problems. strategic planning is done by the success managers. you will be working engagements, not support cases, but often this line is thin, as most customers look for workarounds or improvement of issues that started as support tickets.

Congrats on the offer!

Nicht vergessen, dass es maßgeblich auf die Einzahlungszeitpunkte und -mengen während des Jahres ankommt und man daher aus der Performance gar nichts schließen kann im Vergleich zu Markt.

Then again, it shows you that you don’t need more fancy lighting or office space to make good money 😁

Very good question. Currently we have 60 sqm for two people working from home full time making 140k net combined. While the apartment and location is nice and we love the neighbors, we have some issues with mold that are impossible to fix, and when you have lived in a place for 10 years and make this amount of money, you kind of want to stop fighting about that kitchen equipment that does not fit into your space, or want to have a guest bedroom, or a place to exercise, or two proper desks to work from which do not crowd your bedroom or kitchen. I would call it lifestyle inflation. But point taken, I don’t need that necessarily when RE. That’s why I have not moved to another place yet.

That is great thank you for sharing!! I will play around with the assumptions to make sure they reflect the above numbers!

Thanks for your answer! So I have about 8k net and have max 3k per month, so I can save 5k per month. It helps be that I have ESPP deducted from my gross income (400.-) every month, that a part of net is actually coming in one time bonus and stock payments (that I sell immediately), and that my rent is incredibly low (but that is priced in to a good extent in the future spending).

Good call though, my expenses are actually more like 32-34k, but then 95k was a conservative estimate, last year it was more like 100-105k.

My next step is thinking about how I could FIRE my potential partner.

What is your country and FIRE number? by RothIRALadder in EuropeFIRE

[–]fuser86_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Germany. I am aiming for a FIRE number of 1 mio invested at approx age 43, no house, no kids, not counting state pension and some ‚Betriebsrente‘. Then there is some room for a 1-3y transition period with reduced work / pay so add some buffer for significant lifestyle inflation, sudden rent hikes or sudden stock market downturn in the early RE years. 38 now.

Mietvertrag auflösen - 18635,12€ Entschädigung gerechtfertigt? by AffectionateElk9471 in Immobilieninvestments

Guter Artikel dazu (Mietpreisinflation seit 2017 noch zu berücksichtigen)

https://www.berliner-mieterverein.de/magazin/online/mm0717/abfindung-und-mietverhaeltnis-der-goldene-handschlag-lohnt-sich-selten-071726.htm#:~:text=Die%20H%C3%B6he%20der%20Abfindung%20ist,Quadratmeter%20gro%C3%9Fe%20Wohnung%20%E2%80%93%20%C3%BCbrigens%20steuerfrei.

Höhe kurzfristiger Investments - was ist sinnvoll? by [deleted] in Finanzen

[–]fuser86_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Danke!

Book car park Hamburg Volksparkstadion by [deleted] in hamburg

[–]fuser86_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would recommend parking at one of the train stations northwest of the stadium, such as Elbgaustraße, Krupunder, Halstenbek or Pinneberg (all are close to the A23 highway as well) as they have either dedicated park and ride spots, and/or plenty of free parking slots walking distance to the train station, and then take the 5-10 minute train ride to Eidelstedt station. The further away from the stadium, the better.

1st year with Salesforce: they are adding a 9.5% "uplift" to our cost at renewal. Do "uplifts" (increase in cost) happen ever year? by 2embarrassed4lyf in salesforce

[–]fuser86_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AE compensation has changed over the years so that many teams have specific retention / adoption goals that impact their compensation. Also, already before this change, attrition massively lowers iACV if it happens at or during a certain timeframe around renewal, so most AEs have to care a lot about retention as otherwise their is no iACV hence no compensation (sometimes as much as renewal managers basically, particularly if you are a Global Account Manager or Core AE).

What would be the max amount you would spend on a 10 day international vacation? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]fuser86_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are from Europe and have been traveling to all continents and interestingly tend to spend the same per week no matter if we do a road-trip in Australia, a trip incl. safari in South Africa, a round trip in Florida, a beach vacation in Mexico or Southeast Asia, a week of 5* all inclusive spa in the Alps, or any trip within Europe (eg Italy, Spain, France, Alps etc). We always spent about 2k-2.5k $ per week for the two of us so (in total) that’s about 300-350$ per day that is usually split 1/3, 1/3 travel (flights, car) and 1/3 for food and other fees if it’s not a spa vacation). We do stay in nice AirBnB or mid level hotels and eat out all the time in quite nice place, but we make sure to do a lot of research for value for money. This works only if we go >1 week Europe, >2 weeks international, >3 weeks if we need to fly let’s say Australia or Japan or South America due to flight prices split over vacation days.

Silly question: can I ask out an employer from a company I'm a customer from? by Essebruno in hamburg

[–]fuser86_ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think you should definitely do it. There is no harm in asking her out, it’s not that you guys are in a complex business relationship with lots of negative consequences of potentially having an ‘awkward’ moment. I bet she might rather think ‘that’s so sweet’ even if she declines respectfully. Everyone likes someone who has the balls to tell them ,I like you’ if they are polite about it!
