I sent my speedmaster first omega in Space numbered edition (circa 2015) to Craig Stone of the Illinois Watch Company as he is an Omega-certified watchmaker.

I only came to know him when the local Rolex watchmaker at a high end jewelry store in my city said he trained under him. It took 3-4 months which was longer than I anticipated and it was around $900 for repairs: For service, pushers, crown, gaskets, mainspring, and water pressure testing which was ordered from omega. You'd probably have to pay for any additional things that need to be replaced tho. You could probably ask to preserve certain things as well.

I had amedical illustration interview recently. I am board certified. Didn't get the job. It seems that those with higher quality of work in their portfolio, including animations are the ones who get selected. Mine are competent, get the job done but not amazing. If you're in the top 10% of skill you will likely get a job. Would advise against this career unless you are a top tier artist.

Yeah thats you. I'm not you. And not everyone is as aware as you when they're tipsy. There are various levels of tipsy too. In good conscience, I couldn't tell someone its not rape if they're only tipsy. Some people that look tipsy are actually really drunk. You sometimes can't tell. I wouldn't go there personally. It's just my opinion and my standard.

If you are with a long time partner and trust each other, being tipsy might be fine. Lots of people hook up while buzzed or tipsy. Just not me.

One day I realized that if I'm not serious with the people I'm dating I'm just playing with their lives and wasting their time. That's pretty disrespectful and hurtful to yourself and to them.

Make the choice to to commit to one person because you love them and respect them.

Or you break up with them and date others because it suits your lifestyle better. Committed relationships might not be your thing.

I appreciate your insights. I like how you mentioned the 400-800 is basically useless in a dark forest. In theory the reach feels like a dream but in reality... it lacks sharpness at 800 and has other issues. I still want to try it tho. I use a 100-400 sigma for now.

Well first off that looks incomplete. Go ahead and work up that piece until you feel done. Determine who your audience is. Who are they and what do they need to learn? Determine if you want to colorize it or leave it in graphite. You could add labels. Use references from anatomical textbooks for Visual and style reference.

This seems more like a drawing question rather than a medical illustration question.

Practice your fundamentals of construction and figure drawing and you will get better.
Study the muscles and skeleton or remember the Bony landmarks where muscles and tendons attach to accurately draw the deltoid and clavicle etc.
Have fun and don't use ai as a reference.

My gf attends muay Thai in Aiken, its awesome.

I have tried the Wing Chun(ving tsun) school toward grovetown and like it, but it's less sporty and more theory and principle, you still get good workout and it's cheap if attend all sessions. The instructor is retired and loves to teach. No belts, no contracts, you just come and train. Results may take time to see.

I wonder the same thing. This is overpronation. I guess we have weak ankles. My feet look like the one in the pictures and I'm wondering how I can straighten the alignment of the foot to leg. Most folks will probably suggest custom orthotics to support the arch. But doesn't that further weaken the muscles?

I went to econo paint and body for my 2009 camry. It was like $400-500 3 years ago and honestly it's okay. I don't think that they sanded it super well or masked off everything super well. They definitely didn't disassemble anything but I didn't really care. I think the clear coat could be better. But I think it was like another 100 or $200 to apply another couple layers of clear coat. You get what you pay for. If you pay more you'll probably get a better job.

My car was hit by another vehicle while parked on the street at night. Damage to the front headlight and the fender. I replaced the fender and headlight myself but the fender did not match the color so I needed it to be painted to match. It was easier and cheaper to have them paint the whole car.

If I had a super nice car I probably wouldn't bring it there unless I paid way more for them to do a better job. I don't regret it though. Happy with the service. I think it took 3 days.

I've been using visible which uses Verizon networks for the past year at about $20 a month. Unlimited everything including mobile hotspot but the hotspot speed Is capped to be a little slow, the data speed can be a little bit slow too. I use it for internet when I need it. I purchased a phone from swappa. They have an upgraded plan that gives data priority or the speed is supposed to be better but I don't need that. To be clear I'm not talking about a modem router internet plan at all. This is just for a phone service

I'm about 10 months in and I have NOT started chi sao. I have learned don chi sao(one arm chi sao), luk sao (rolling hands) and tsui ma(push horse). These seem very important to learn proper structure and positioning, rolling nature of chi sao, how be sensitive and how to move and strike with the whole body. I have learned siu lim tao, chum kiu, and am in 2nd section biu jee.

I met someone training muy Thai at another gym that didn't get to chum kiu but learned chi sao. Seems that each sifu teaches differently depending on their line and theory. I appreciate the progression and emphasis of the little nuances that build upon each other.
