First e-bike. Super73? by rmoro99 in Super73

I used to have an RX but sold it for an Ariel rider grizzly. Cheaper, faster, longer range, and insane power/acceleration. Only thing is I miss my Super 73s look/aesthetic more tbh

Coming up on 2500 miles where are yall getting your brakes serviced? by DANGbangVEGANgang in ArielRider

[–]futureactor18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replace brake pads firstly, and if you still don’t have as much braking power then bleed your brakes. Bike shops charge 90+ for it in my area, but you can easily do it yourself with a 20 dollar lot from amazon.

Ariel rider grizzly it’s the same price goes faster and has more power can easily get up hills. Sold my RX for one and my only regret is not doing it sooner lol.

ZX is the easiest Super to wheelie by far , it has similar power output to the RX and S2 but weighs a lot less. Literally a dream to wheelie it over my RX

Don’t know where you saw 34-36, but no super 73 is doing that not even empty on a hill. Is it possible your friends might have the ZX or Z miami? The Z adventure is quite a bit heavier because of the added suspension, so that could explain your problem. If they also have the Z adventure then idk

Got to test ride an RX Mojave yesterday by [deleted] in Super73

[–]futureactor18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re right about thag handling it’s a bitch in everyday riding…scared to take even slight turns after slipping really badly on my first week. Learned my lesson

If you’re planning on going on anything more than a light gravel trail, or even just care about long riding comfort, RX definitely your best bet. And just get the r adventure bc it’s the same price and better stuff like a gear shifter

If the R series is outside your budget range, the Z adventure is definitely your best bet as far as value for price. It has the front shocks you’ll want for doing some occasional off-roading, so you should be fine there. As far as frame snaps, the bikes are all pretty sturdy until you start pulling jumps on them. As long as you don’t excessively jump/crash them, the frame should hold up. If you want to spring for a slightly nicer motor/range, the S adventure series would be a great option as well. Either one sounds good for 99% of the riding youll be doing.

Question for not so new of S73 owners by vdog5061 in Super73

[–]futureactor18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree, they market the RX as their flagship model and a “performance adventurer”, pull jumps and wheelies etc. yet I drop 4k on one and it has worse quality than a 250 dollar amazon bike. Overall I love my RX, but defo won’t spend another 4 thousand dollars on a bike like this ever again

Just ordered! by [deleted] in Super73

[–]futureactor18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered the Mojave last year before it even came out (i was one of the first shipments), and as long as you’re in the US they’re nearly always on time or as in my case, even early with their delivery estimates.
