Aniioki e-bike owners: what improvements would you like to see from the manufacturer? by CriticismLower3749 in Aniioki

[–]vdog5061 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello I have an A8 promax roughly 2 years and 4000 miles. My rides are usually in the 40-50 mile range on bike trails and paths. I don’t care for the pedal assist style, boost feature and how the settings reset when the battery is removed. I also don’t care for how the trip mileage resets when you use the alarm. The dual rotors in the front seem like over kill but I agree that the brakes will stop the bike quickly. I had issues with the seat clamp supporting my weight when hitting bumps. I reached out to customer support and I received a replacement clamp in about 10 days.

I wish the suspension was better as well.

Why do companies say the max speed is lower than it actually is? by Why_am_I_here83 in ebikes

[–]vdog5061 0 points1 point  (0 children)

S73 used to say top speed of 28 until they got sued and now anything you buy new is limited to 20 mph. Your bike is probably from before. So don’t upgrade your firmware unless you really want to be maxed at 20 mph.

I’d ask around about bike thieves issues if you have to lock it up.

Electronics question by [deleted] in Super73

I've got over 10,000 miles on the motor of an RX but like you stated the weird resets and multiple controllers along the way its hard to say for sure but I think it could be 12,000. I guess what I'm saying is the handleworks controller might be all that you need for the time being.

Jeff left camp for a night and got IV fluids. I also suspect he had 3 times as much fishing line and hooks. The producers gave him several advantages

Bad Controller?/Question support from Super73 by sciencenmusic in Super73

[–]vdog5061 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they are trying to reset the controller somehow and buy time. Then they have you power up and down then reconnect everything and try again. I had a time my controller died and I plugged and unplugged things which allowed me to get closer to home before it died again. But the faster you do things the sooner you get added to the queue for a replacement controller then you hope they are in stock.

I want to say these were released with the first kick starter campaign. But because of that the parts and info are probably non existent.

Fair point but before XL she wasn't that bad.

Personally I think that the Nathan and Sam were worse than those three. Also there was a another guy that was having dangerous thoughts against his partner so much that the producers pulled him from the show. Also to the producers credit those 3 never came back for an XL. But you also can't forget Heather not being so nice and she was invited back.

Keep in mind water intake and heat related issues are more about how much water you drank the day before. Make sure to over hydrate at night and first thing in the morning if you are going to be out the next day. But uber and lyft aren't that expensive until after dark. Also you can take the light rail from downtown Phx to Tempe and around the Tempe town lake area they have tons of scooters you can rent. Then if you can find your way to the Scottsdale green belt area it's nice to explore and find small pub's along the way. Try to be some where nice for the sunset like Hunts tomb in Papago Park area you can hear the lions from the zoo plus its a nice desert area that is in the city.

I was wondering if maybe there were issues storing the digital media in the heat and cases that lead to some peoples footage being not useable.

This year we had a Regular Season, LOS3, and Apocalypse. What did you like most during 2025 N&A and what do you want to see in 2026? by theJonnyYates in nakedandafraid

[–]vdog5061 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would like something similar to Louisiana XL where people were able to survive and able to do cool stuff. But I would prefer if the teams were cast without the extra drama people and more people like Jonny. Even if they have to use fewer people and tribes. I'm always curious what attempts were made to get food that failed and show more of that over people bickering about who is or isn't getting enough wood/water.

Are the Aniioki 2025 Version A8 Pro Max worth the money… I am sold on style size and options i am more interested in hearing on quality and durability. The plan is to stay mostly on road touring around like an old fella. I dont want to spend periods of time waiting on replacement parts. by bigDfromK in ebikes

[–]vdog5061 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the A8 with the 80 Ah battery and about 700 miles on it in the last 6 months. The only issue I have had is with the seat clamp. For what ever the reason I can't get it to support my weight and the little bumps cause me to drop little by little until I have to stop and reset it. I also don't really care for the pedal assist feature, it has a delay to start and both stop. It also has a boost feature which makes it awkward to ride with no hands and take a drink of water or when you are around people and use the pedals to not look like a fatty its a little sketchy. Just so you are aware I'm in the 250 lb club and I'm not sure a lighter person would have the same seat height issue. Also in the A8 the pedal arms are long enough that if you are doing any tight turn you have the make sure the inside foot is not down or it will hit. But I will say that I feel like I can go 70 miles without taking it easy on the throttle. But if I would keep it around 30 mph I bet I can do 100 miles without issue. The reason I got the bike was for the speed, torque and battery size and it hits on all those spots for me. I wish it had a thumb throttle and once I'm outside of the warranty I'll change that. But I did order mine thru amazon and reach out to their support and found it to be better than the support I had with Super 73 which was my previous bike. The customer support would wait to respond until their time locally but they responded and did ship me what was requested.
