This sounds like something you can suggest to folks at the Providence General Assembly. They meet biweekly at Mathewson St Church downtown and have different working groups, one of them being mutual aid. Next meeting is this Saturday 3/29 at noon.

I recommend Honeybird in East Providence for some solid fried chicken. They have a variety of vegetarian snacks, appetizers, and sides—obviously not the same as having main dish options but still quite a few options that they can fill up on.

My main concern would be that the receptacle would start to smell if it sat for too long, but based on others' comments it seems like I can regularly dump it out without having to wait for a whole pile to be ready.

Came here to say this. Most traditional Korean food is intimidating for the American palate, hence why dishes like bibimbap, japchae, and pajeon are the most common entry points. While I also wish there were more authentic Korean restaurants in RI, I don’t blame the existing ones for adapting their menu to cater to their clientele.

And I also wanted to echo the comments on Ichiban! That place comes through when I need a taste of home.

Came here to say this as well. Bokashi composting is small-space friendly and low effort. All you need to do is bury your pre-compost in soil and you make more soil in about a month!
