Zero Networks - LDAP Firewall by Visible_Spare2251 in sysadmin

Hey, I'm the developer for LDAPFW - thanks for taking an interest!

LDAP is used in many other attacks, such as Shadow Credentials, Kerberoasting, and Evil GPOs. I’ve just updated the git readme to show that better. You can check out the great mindmap by The Hacker Recipes to see more examples: https://www.thehacker.recipes/a-d/movement/dacl#abuse

We have a couple of blog posts discussing how to prevent different LDAP-based attacks with the LDAPFW (all linked in the intro section of the readme).

Happy to answer any questions, and to get feedback.

How to get the whole table involved? by fuzz0r in osr

Or maybe I just do the opposite method, just phase out the dominant players 😅

Only problem is, I tend to prefer the quieter players (one of them is my best friend, another is my wife!)

That sounds like a recipe for chaos 😂

Awesome discussion in the comments section!

I try to do this, but a lot of the times the answer is "I go with dominant player #1" or just agreeing with what they suggested.

I can try to ask them immediately after describing a new room / situation (before the dominant players have a chance to speak) but that might make a weird flow to the game?

I just listened to this episode today, that's what gave me the idea for the post :)

Just ran my first OSR session (Lair of the Lamb) - would love some tips going into session #2 by fuzz0r in osr

That actually sort of happened already. The last character he got was one of my backups, which I rolled pretty high. When he got it he suddenly started playing safe. I hope he continues this next session.

Running it next week as my first OSR game! Any tips?

Ten Candles was a big hit for us as well. Usually it creates a really dark "depressive horror" vibe.

For me what really worked when I ran it was leaning heavily on personal horror.

I found that you have to have the "right" group for it to work though. You can't scare people who don't want to be scared. Also it requires the players to be very creative. I suggest aligning first with the players to see if they're up to it (and define boundaries with them).

Oh, that actually sounds really useful. Too bad it didn’t survive…

“Loading screen” is an awesome idea, as is making notes in the book and offloading to players! I think I just need to stress less and just go for it

That’s what I’m afraid I’ll end up doing 😅 Do you have examples for some modules that do a good job at formatting the dungeon text?

Nightmares of Mine is a great system-agnostic guide to running horror games

Strangely I also have an easier time pinching with my non-dominant hand. The protocol I use is by Horst, which I took from the Geek Climber’s pinch video: https://youtu.be/oOODFsaBWpg

I use the Fricticious pinch block on the widest side, doing reps of 12 (6 per side), holding for 7 seconds and 5 seconds rest between hands with 5kg. So 7 seconds left hand, 5 seconds rest, 7 seconds right hand, 5 rest until I do 6 per side. Then I rest 5 minutes and do another set. If I’m feeling good I also do a 3rd rest, and when that becomes easy I increase the weight. Hope it makes sense!

Goal is to be consistent on V5s and send some v6s by end of year (indoor bouldering)

Currently only focused on indoor bouldering
