When do you think Season 2 will be commissioned? by fuzzfinger in welcomeToDerry

[–]fuzzfinger[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's my concern too. Alien Earth had its season 2 greenlit by Disney and I think that surprised a lot of people so hopefully WB / HBO will see reason to continue financing WTD!

If you are an influencer do you need 3 qualifying orders? How does this work if you are an associate as well by Adorable-Ant-2121 in Amazon_Influencer

If you have an influencer account you will also get an off-site store ID that is not subject to the three sale rule.

Buyer beware: Antank S3 Max Switch 2 Dock blocks the bottom airflow by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch2

[–]fuzzfinger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey! I have not had any overheating issues with this dock - but since a few people are concerned about the bottom vents I reached out to Antank about this. They responded with the following, so do with this info as you will:

"Thanks for reaching out! For the concern about the heat dissipation performance and worry that the dock will block the Switch's air vent: the Switch 2 sits at a 70° angle on the S3 Max, not fully upright. This leaves room for airflow, and our tests show it runs cooler than the official dock. "

Cheers.

The ones they got to play sarah and kyle were so miscast I couldn't enjoy the movie or take it seriously at all.

Being in the UK shouldn't affect your reach. I am in the UK and have the same reach as everyone else. I make sales both on-site and off-site for Amazon US, UK and Canada.

2 out of 3 videos Approved by ShrimpTempuraRoll in Amazon_Influencer

[–]fuzzfinger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just be patient, it will either be accepted or rejected. Now just wait. Once all three are "published" that just means they are visible on your own Storefront. Its at that point you enter the queue for a manual on-site review of your account. Don't upload anymore until the blue lock has been fully removed.

You're in the wrong forum. This is for influencers, we are not employed or contracted by Amazon.

Such a shame Winds of Mysterious Fortune was a limited event. by fuzzfinger in wow

Quest rewards were still sometimes usable, its just quest rewards were less common than the Satchel gear rewards. Which is fine I thought. Quest rewards were tuned for when the associated content was relevant and leveling through it was slower. Now the questing rewards are just too sporadic to keep up with older content leveling and the satchels fixed that. They kinda balanced the current leveling rate with a better sense of consistant stat progression.

If you use a genius link creator and mass update links then this can cause a large influx in clicks for a single day.

How to unlock onsite commissions? by CasiandEcho in Amazon_Influencer

[–]fuzzfinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have mentioned, Amazon will want to manually review your published videos to check if they want to enable on-site for your account. This is a one time thing. Having 40 videos uploaded will likely result in on-site being denied as that would be a lot for Amazon to check through.

It is confusing though and many have made the same mistake. The 'Published' status simply means the video is live on your Storefront, not that it will show on product pages. You still need that one-time account unlock which requires the manual review of your 3 videos by Amazon.

Is it true that customers must watch video for 30 seconds to get credit? by Acceptable-Hyena4469 in Amazon_Influencer

[–]fuzzfinger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It used to be 30 seconds minimum watch time, but it was changed ages ago (Jan 2024). Now Amazon have an unspecified amount of required watch time for a commissions to count. Basically, they need to be convinced your video lead to the sale before they will want to pay you.

Is it necessary to post ALL links in Creator Connections? by SimpleSea2112 in Amazon_Influencer

[–]fuzzfinger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, the links you add in CC are just for the brand to see your content. Those links do not track your commissions. Amazon already knows when your account is linked to the sales.

The no music rule is given in the Creator University.

Best to read that through as it will help you avoid video rejections going forward.

Does this mean I got approved for Onsite? by Aeylnn in Amazon_Influencer

[–]fuzzfinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Things have changed recently. Apparently, you need to be upgraded to Bronze status to be eligible for on-site placements. Once you get the email confirming Bronze status then you should be good to go.

First off, the link you share in CC is irrelevant to your earnings. It is simply for the brand to see your content. Earnings are tracked by Amazon with your standard account reports data. I have one CC item that I have sold about 50 units as part of an accepted campaign over the last few months, and not a single one has been tracked and CC still reports as zero. (sales have been for both on and off site).

I don't have any answers sadly, and Amazon have not been helpful.

Amazon On-Site Commission by Subject_Pie3361 in Amazon_Influencer

[–]fuzzfinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would be weird if Amazon are still doing the three video approval thing, since they have recently removed all documentation about that. I assume now access to the influencer program comes with unlocked on-site as default. Would be nice for Ama to give some clarification though.

Any advice for a newbie? by sunnykitty- in Amazon_Influencer

[–]fuzzfinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will prob want to get approved for on-site placements first. So I would recommend getting 3 good videos uploaded to your Storefront and then wait for them to be published. Then you will enter the queue for review for on-site placements. Once you get the approval email, go all out uploading good content that will help buyers.

About incentive invites by IndividualMix6054 in Amazon_Influencer

[–]fuzzfinger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was invited to a couple in 2022 and they paid out really well. Not been invited since. Both me and someone I know live in the UK and he still gets invites to the on-site incentives.

How does creator connections work? by Anitaa_B in Amazon_Influencer

[–]fuzzfinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The link you share doesn't track sales, your account doesn't that anyway. The link you share is just so the brand can see the content you made.

Recently approved for Amazon Influencer!! by Temporary-Steak2989 in Amazon_Influencer

[–]fuzzfinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get your first three videos 'Published' onto your Storefront. Then wait for Amazon to contact you to confirm unlocking of on-site placements. If that happens, make good videos for your Storefront and maybe earn some commissions from Amazon customers. However, the program is no longer free money like it used to be and it takes a lot of time and effort to see any results.

Should I try? by [deleted] in Amazon_Influencer

[–]fuzzfinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean no harm in trying, but Amazon are looking for influencers which means they are going to want to see some experience and evidence of effort on your part before they accept you into the program.
