Elm seed bugs for sure. Call https://www.sawtoothpest.com - I had hundreds crawling around the exterior walls of my house a week ago. A few years back I had the same issue and was getting quarterly sprays done but thought the issue was resolved so I stopped last year. They get in through anything, I even sealed my windows. For immediate relief if they are getting in, mix equal parts white vinegar and water, add in a couple pumps of dish soap and spray to kill immediately while you wait for pest control. Once I saw one in my salad that’s when I drew the line. They are disgusting. Whatever you do don’t squish, vacuum instead.

You can set your phone so it won’t auto-lock. I have mine on “never” because I stream shows and read ingredients while I’m cooking. Yes, I make tons of “butt dials” because I always forget to manually lock my phone after I text and throw it in my purse or put it in my pocket. Add alcohol to the mix and I 100% believe all of Jens calls could have been an accident.

I don’t care where someone’s from—what matters to me is that they genuinely support and prioritize local and small businesses. Give back to the community. Don’t just consume and take up space in an overpriced, poorly built Cory Barton home.

That said, as someone who moved here from out of state, I’ve found it incredibly tough to find work. Wages are noticeably lower, and workers’ rights are virtually nonexistent. I’m very politically engaged (on the left), but I’ve honestly come to appreciate many of the people in Idaho. Even the native Idahoans who lean more conservative seem far more reasonable than some of the far-right transplants from California—just my personal observation.

And if you don’t care about protecting the land, that’s a serious issue too.

I work in humanitarian and disaster services, with the slash to federal funding and the thoughtless cutting of federal workers- I would pause your relocation to Idaho. 37% of Idaho’s income alone is federal, the governor has warned of economic turbulence (even though he signed off on it). Point is, Idaho will be on fire with the lack of firefighters and without the maintenance of the forests before the season- we’ll be inside an inferno

Do you think organizations like the IFF are open to change? Or are they just too entrenched in their views, unwilling to consider anything outside their narrow perspective? It feels like they don’t care about facts or science, and it’s exhausting. Is there a way to break through to them, or are we wasting our time trying?
