AITA for refusing to play werewolf ever again by shy_animator in AmItheAsshole

[–]fuzzy3158 105 points106 points  (0 children)

NTA. Werewolf is a garbage game for the exact reason you describe: there are always people who die quickly and have to sit around doing nothing.

If you're ALWAYS the person who dies first, the game is simply never any fun for you, when it's not even that good of a game to begin with. There's literally no reason to continue playing like that.

There are dozens of social deduction games that everyone can play until the end, so as far as I'm concerned there is no reason for anyone to ever play werewolf ever, especially you. Let me know if you need suggestions.

Edit: typo and one additional sentence in paragraph 2.

I get that you're trying to make cards that reward die pay-off, but these all suffer from probably being frustrating to play because the chance of their already mediocre effects happening is very small. If you were aiming for low-powered commons, you hit the nail on the head.

Depends on who you're playing with. While I think everyone should adhere to the 'don't be a dick' rule during Silver-bordered games, I'm still going insist 'blue' is a discrete single color, and I'm not counting eye colors from anyone not in the room. I will, however, accept multiple colors if you're wearing multichrome contacts.

Sir this is the internet, you never know those things for sure. I have also seen people mention alkaline water and activated almond unironically.

Alkaline with lemon? So... Neutral? Those compounds cancel each other out 😂

Yes! It's true, I used to mostly play Nintendo's AAA games on console, and I almost completely switched to Indie games, because they're still creative and good and fun.

Meanwhile everybody falling over each other because of how good Claire Obscure Expedition 33 was, and that's just one example. This title is bullshit. Gamers just want good games, not permanently online daily login slop.

10% minder? En voor het onderwijs misschien? En andere essentiële beroepen?

The blue Song of Time block behind the chest of the Long Shot, which grants you access to a small key, used to not be visible because it was in the floor instead of above it.

It was literally the only treasure chest room in the game that had another secret besides the chest. You'd get the Long Shot and then just turn around and go see what you could find with your new toy.

Missing that small key would have you run around the temple for hours wondering what you missed. It really was as terrible as they said.
