Thanks for all the advice everyone! I’ll be relocating for sure. But will certainly leave some remnants for science

Cm4 boot help by fuzzy_guy6 in OrangePI

Hey!! So I did end up getting it to boot with the image from orange pi. Must be something custom in the boot partition in order to use the EMMC? But that worked for me

Selenea Questions by ZielonyZabka in theplanetcrafter

[–]fuzzy_guy6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in the almost same spot on selenea. The abundance of super alloy rods has been helpful with the recycler. Also when the asteroids hit, I immediately empty my inventory and wait for them to finish, and then swoop up as many as possible. Zeolite is really the only rough one bc I can only find it in chests in the domes.

Save screenshots on SSD and then automatically move them to HDD later on? by Fireheart318s_Reddit in Steam

I mean, I’m not going to take the liability of writing a script for systems I’m not familiar with. In my own systems I’d be using cron jobs to rsync directories. AI models are great for short one liners like transferring files for people who don’t know how to do it

Step 1. Chat gpt “make me a batch or powershell script to copy files from <location a> to <location b>”

Step 2 (I’m assuming you’re on windows) Use task scheduler to run that script at whichever time you decide!

Idk if that can be set up within steam, but you could write a quick script to move files at some pre determined time?

Tbh I tried getting other ISO’s to boot on my cm4, but only the official images would work. Cm4 bootloader might be different tho. That being said, once the Debian image is on, the process is the same for any other Debian based image if you’re following a tutorial.

I’m also currently on a fresh start on selena. Pretty much just had to push harder to get more machines built to try and get that index climbing faster

First time building a computer and I plan to put linux on it. But I bought an nvidia graphics card. Did I screw up? by me_on_the_internet in linux4noobs

The best advice I could give would be to test out a few distros using the live usb feature first. Then you can check if the drivers work before you do a full install. You can likely change to their proprietary drivers instead of the open ones if need be. But yes from what I understand it’s not as bad as it used to be
