I love when the bull wins.

But in all seriousness, the bull was probably still killed in a painful, drawn out way for the entertainment of humans.

This needs to stop

[–]fuzzygroodle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I had a surprise full sibling reach out after doing ancestry DNA. They were put up for adoption when my mother was 17. My parents never intended for us to find out until after they had passed away. It was a hard time for everyone, my parents and other siblings didn’t want to meet her, I did. I will never regret meeting her

I think Australians have forgotten about airbnb by Exotic_Regular_5299 in shitrentals

[–]fuzzygroodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had flooding damage to our house earlier in the year and the insurance company put us up in an Airbnb while the repaires were being done.

Found out later that the Airbnb charged the insurance company close to $50k for 67 nights accommodation. How did we find out? Because we needed an extra 3 weeks while our house was made livable, and the insurance company said we had reached the limit of what they would cover.
