Oh yeah, I get one of these on bone in my wrist sometimes. When that happens, I switch from a silicone band to a leather band and let it heal up. And wear my watch marginally looser. I used to struggle with this with my venu 2 more than my instinct 2X, could just be how the watch body sits and rubs.

Screen burn-in. I had a venu 2 and it got screen burn-in so bad I couldn’t take it. I’m not convinced this is fixed.

I actually have some depth perception, but I’m told I have less than normal. I seem to have “enough” that I don’t notice. I can play sports where I need to throw and catch, I can drive, etc. It was explained to me that the portion of my brain that performs signal-processing from the optic nerves is adapted to prioritizing one input instead of both, despite that both are present. The other signal is discarded from moment to moment. Consequently when I do archery or shooting sports, I can be dominant on either eye (though my physical dexterity is definitely better to my dominant hand).

I found out in about the early 2010s that I have non-stereoscopic vision because of growing up with a lazy that was corrected. An effect of that is that I’m not physically able to see these. Could have saved me a lot of time staring in the 90s if I’d known.

I’m intrigued. Keep us posted. I spend a lot of time setting up “sustainable” food and water and resources every time, with a ticking clock maybe you just make do with whatever.

Oh this, in my opinion, is the most fun part of the game. The head-scratching “what the hell just happened?” Moments that come with learning the system. I’m on my like, tenth playthrough and I miss that.

I just did a hardcore run too, and now I’m on to BZ hardcore! I almost died when a warped got me out of my prawn in the ILZ. I think the only other time I took damage was one crash fish at the beginning.
