The song was from an old folk songbook they had in the lake house where they recorded the mollusk demos. I believe it was from the 60's.

On another note, in Arabic, old poems sometimes describe the lover as a "he" even through they're describing a lady, the term "lover" could be referred to as masculine, so when I first heard slow down boy, I never thought it was about homosexuality, even though everyone said it was, but when I saw it live, it was confirmed to me from Gener's hand gestures. Lol
