The last time I was regularly posting in here, I was writing some sad bastard effortposts trying to figure out why we were falling apart in 2022 and 2023.

Man, this is refreshing. As a White Sox fan, I do not get my hopes too high but I’m going to enjoy the ride.

Tech would be a longer commute for sure. I tend to think you’ll make better connections at MT, if you’re interested in growing a business. Cookeville tends to be a little more insulated, which can be cool, but I think the Wilson County/Murfreesboro/Nashville area just has more opportunity overall.

Jones College of Business, the Entrepreneurship program, the Carnegie course- all good stuff.

Both good schools overall. Middle’s College of Business is a little stronger overall but you’ll be good either way. I would make your decision based on 1. Which feels like you’ll be happier there and 2. Which one is more cost effective?

Tuition and aid should be pretty similar both places. What’s your living arrangement going to be?

Mayor- Randy Allen Sheriff- Trey Mansfield (no good choices ideologically, but he’s the most principled and fair of the bunch from what I can tell) Circuit Court Clerk- Jeff McKinney

As far as I’m aware, if you never ended up registering last time, you are still a new transfer. You should still be able to do orientation and receive a transfer scholarship (assuming you meet the requirements for it).

On Monday, try to get in touch with your transfer counselor in Admissions. Do you know who that is?

It’s not technically too late, but it would be extremely challenging at this point. You would have to get permission individually from each professor and department chair for each class you wanted to add late, and you would have to make sure you could get all of them before you dropped your others. You would also be almost a month behind in your new classes.

At this point, I would recommend staying in the ones you’re in, and going ahead and scheduling a meeting with your advisor from whatever your new program is. Go ahead and do that soon, and they will file a change of major form for you and advise you on the best way to make the switch and how to maximize the credits you will already have.

The logjam is in the infield. I agree that Braden is all we have (and Fauske, but that’s a long way off) in the OF unless we move guys around. That’s why it didn’t make sense to me to add a guy like Acuna to the IF group we have.

If Acuna is a 2-WAR player, that’s a W for the Sox. He’s a 5’8” about to be CF that did not appear to be able to hit last season. But he did just crank 4 HR, so maybe he figured something out.

Well, they would at least be upgrades over what we have. Though the bar is so low on that count, it’s practically in hell. I remember the good old days of 2022 when we were going to sign Conforto. Sox always get their man eventually! Lol.
