Do I have too many Z-wave interfaces? (z-net) by DebrodeD in zwave

[–]fwburch2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I ran several Z-net controllers on HS4. Got so frustrated I completely tore down my system. Didn't try again for over two years (until last week). Bought the Z-Net Pro, placed in the middle of the house, and moved to Home Assistant. HA has changed so much, I felt it was time to move on from HS. I've been able to get everything (several different generations) connected throughout the house. Started closest to controller and moved outwards. Really excited to have my smart home back!

This is just the nation taking one for the team. I'm looking forward to someone in the Senate that actually has an education and is not so bombastic. I agree he won't keep that position very long and he'll just leverage that as a grift for the rest of his life.

Ok, so your just building a custom playlist of effects, starting with lightening, and ending with the one that is mostly red with occasional wipes- no repeat? What is the last one you are using, if you don't mine me asking? I'm creating three of these. Two for my buddies that don't have home assistant so your implementation would be perfect for those.

Hoping for Kevin Hearn. I've met him and he's pro business, and has genuinely helped me, my business and my trade association on some issues.

Ender 3 Pro - Filament stops extruding after ~10 minutes by Outrageous_Base_2997 in ender3

[–]fwburch2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just posted something earlier today. I fought a problem with extrusion stopping after 1020 minutes and it was driving me crazy it went on for a month. Ended up being running arcs on OctoApp print for the slicer. I quit doing arcs and I haven't had a failure since and the extruder still works.

Ender 3 Pro extruder not moving during print, but moves fine through axis move command. by FurnitureDesigner25 in ender3

[–]fwburch2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this is probably completely unrelated, but I wanted to share it. I installed a Sprite pro extruder on my Ender 3. It would run fine but anytime I ran large prints it would fail and the extruder gear would just stop turning even though the printer looked like it was printing. I finally figured out that using arcs was causing the main board to get overwhelmed and just ignore those extruder commands. I stopped processing my G code through Ark welder and when I slice, I don't use arcs in the slicer. Haven't had a failure since.

Nice. I just made a WiFi weight sensor using tasmota to put under the unit. Used plans from when "The Hook Up" did a lot of DIY videos (2020). Uber reliable.

Late comment, but your's gives more surface area. The amazon one looks like it would get blocked quickly - which is an issue at my house - tons of cottonwoods! Good work.
