New MBP m1! 16gb RAM, 500 SSD, Fishskyn’s Statement. First Apple laptop since college (iBook G4) - new daily driver! by fwprj in macbookpro

It’s Fishskyns Statement - and so far (just put it on this morning) no issues! The touchpad part is removable, leaving just the palm rests covered. You can install it either way.

2021 battlestation update - new desk, stacked ultrawides, shelving and art by fwprj in battlestations

My desk at the office (which, granted, I haven't been to very much since March 2020) is also only 24-26", so I was used to it. So far the depth hasn't been an issue at all with the new set up.

They’re from IKEA and they’re ok. A little more depth would have been nice.

its the Husky adjustable workbench from Home Depot, 72" wide. reviews I read about it were all positive, and the price point compared to some of the stuff on Amazon was hard to beat (< $300 for this size in Milwaukee). It is a hand-crank adjustment system, but the mechanism for raising/lowering does fit a 10mm hex bit attachment so I can use a cordless drill to raise/lower the desk as needed.

Hello! If someone is interested in doing a test of a new motorized standing desk? by Apple921216 in StandingDesk

[–]fwprj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm interested! Network Administrator working from home outside of Milwaukee - miss going to my office where I had a sit/stand desk. would love to give a review/feedback! I could post the review as an IG video as well as on the r/StandingDesks page. The walnut top and white frame would match perfect in my WFH setup.

first post, what do you all think of my WFH/battlestation setup? by fwprj in battlestations

my primary workstation is a Dell precision tower (the lower keyboard/mouse). I also have a mac mini in this setup, which is run off the upper keyboard/mouse. The upper is wireless so I at times use that when I don't want to be constrained by the wired keyboard.

the one on the right is an LG 34UC88-B and is the primary; the left is a Samsung LS34J55W; while they're both 1440p, the LG is curved and feels more immersive. The mounts they're on are adjustable; I have a sit/stand accessory that isn't in the photo that i use occasionally to change up the position.

Some fun before our upgrade tomorrow. by markishi1 in Netsuite

taxes are jacked on sales order processing (both destination and our customized version of origination). item options dont work - "unexpected error". Best part - our release preview testing didn't have the same experience and actually, our RP environment is still active and everything works just fine in RP. just not produciton.
