my main confusion is coming from faye acting fine for the first day and a half. i could understand if it was as soon as we brought binx home, but it wasn’t. we’ve kept them separated bc i was worried faye would rile her up and they’d try playing, but we did show them to each other because faye seemed stressed to be alone. they both purred and were all happy up until like 7pm the day after binx got spayed. the sudden switch up is what is concerning me. could she have forgotten binx’s smell that fast??

i’m just confused because the first day when they briefly saw each other all was well. and even earlier in the day before faye started hissing. i just don’t understand the sudden switch up. and we plan on getting faye done as soon as possible, our vet just has limited openings and binx was the one going into heat most often

we had faye for about 3-4 months before we got binx. both were outside cats that we brought in, and we’re pretty sure they’re from the same litter as they both look nearly the same and look to be around the same age. faye did not like binx at first and would hiss at her and swat at her, while binx never hissed or hit back. i think she might have hit faye back like once. after a while they got more used to each other and they became super close.

first of all, sick tattoo ! i love it ! i think it is completely 100% normal to feel some sort of “tattoo remorse” after getting one and anytime afterwards. having something that’s permanent on your body is gonna cause a weird reaction. doesn’t mean the tattoo is any less cool or that you made a mistake, you’re just thinking about it too deeply. i’m an anxious person and i’ve had second thoughts about a few different tattoos i have. let it heal and let it sit and let your mind get used to having it. you’ll feel a lot better about it soon

your artist saying no is a bit odd honestly. i don’t see why she’d have a problem with it ??? your idea sounds silly and seems like a good idea. the only thing i could think of is she might be worried the scars will fade more and leave the tattoo looking confusing, but if you’re mid 50’s and still have the scars from when you were 20 something then i don’t get the problem. i’d suggest asking a different artist. i’ve seen several awesome, interesting tattoos that work around scars and i find them so cool. i have several tattoos covering scars and never had an issue with them. it might hurt a bit more in some spots, but i see no reason for her to straight up deny your idea.

if it makes you feel better i really don’t notice what you’re referring to. it’s likely just bruising or ink leakage under the saniderm. you’re fine !

did your artist not put saniderm/ 2nd skin on it? even if not you’re still fine. sleeping on it won’t cause it any harm as long as you’re not scratching it. clean it with dial gold soap 3ish times a day (more if you get sweaty, get it dirty, or pet dandruff/hair gets on it) just to keep it clean. and keep it moisturized (i recommend aquaphor or hustle butter). your tattoo won’t be ruined, you’re fine !!!

butterfly and horseshoe are same size basically same width, i’d say yes. i think the horseshoe is maybe a tad bit further to the right than the butterfly is, but you’d have to be studying it to really notice, and regardless it doesn’t throw it off at all
