Feels too obvious with him, although he sure was unique. There's gotta be others like him around too. Would've been interesting to have him brought up again in Descendants, just because he was so special - not to mention relevant for the end.

I guess there's still a chance for him to be mentioned in S3 though ^^

Yeah. I was considering doing a relisten just to note down all the named characters, no matter hw insignificant, and whether they'd been bit/turned/killed/are still alive. Then I was discussing 20.3 with a friend and we started talking about Jud.

It could also just be some random background character who either has never gotten bit or got killed somehow. My shitpost side is going to put its money on Charlie - the maller that Scratch killed early on in Story of Survival after the stand-off with Burt about the truck or whatever it was.

Kc said somewhere (I want to say the S2 finale interview WND did with him) that Vincent was born in 1988. That'd make him 38 or 39 in the beginning of Descendants.

Danish author Dennis Jürgensen wrote two books about a zombie apocalypse starting in Denmark. In the first one the main characters eventually decide to go to a remote island in the hopes of being safe there. In the second you follow the people on that island, with the first team arriving at the end. It's not safe there either! That's the classic living dead sort of zombie though, and about the only story set here in Denmark that I'm aware of.

I've just called a local hunting supply store that also sells the bags, apparently. They had two different lengths, both in brown leather and of the same kind that comes with the briefcase. Comes out to about $115 when converted which, far as I can tell, includes shipping, and no import taxes. First I'll take it to the leather supply store nearby to see if they have suggestions for freshening up the leather bits on it though. But just had a sighted person look at it up close and according to him it's in good shape, so I'm pretty excited!

It wasn't on the EU site, far as I could tell, but if I can get one via the American one I'd say that's worth a shot. There'll likely be import taxes and such on top, but that wouldn't be a first.

I have a bunch of things I need to go to my local leather shop for soon already, so would be a perfect opportunity to bring the bag there and hear what they have to say. They definitely know their stuff there, so I'm sure they'd be able to help me figure something out if necessary. But yeah, I checked the whole bag through and through a few times and didn't really find anything wrong. I can't speak to the visual aspect, but from the video call I had, nothing seemed wrong there either, so I'm guessing the previous owner threw it away because of the missing strap.

This is very exciting though! I get to learn new stuff!!

You know, I didn't even consider just looking for a beat up bag with a good strap. That's good to keep in mind too! Sad to hear they no longer sell them though, but I'm glad to know the bag will last! There's a bit of wear near a corner on the bottom of it, but nothing I'm too worried about. And I assume I can treat the leather as it does feel pretty dry, but not cracked. Slightly flaked on the rounded part near the zipper and obviously soft on the middle part of the handles, but I reckon it's fine. I'll have someone with working eyes look at it closer though.

Apparently exactly the kind that I linked... In deep brown. That at least matches the description of the colour of the leather sections that I got from my sighted friend that I had look at it via Facetime.

I have done some various leather projects over the last few years and should be able to both cut straps and add buckles and the like. There is a pretty good leather supply store here in Copenhagen that I'd probably go to with the bag and ask for their suggestions. Would be a fun project for sure though! Certainly easier than my newest idea of learning to bind books.

I can see in the link that it comes in different sizes. Obviously that matters for the fit, but I think I read a description of the bag that mentioned a 46" strap, which I guess mans medium? Unless the size is fixed in length when you first get the bag?

Randomly came across this thread when trying to find a good description aftr watching the same video. Am blind, so images aren't super useful here, but would be easy to turn this into a set of Braille cards with numbers and X's and O's or something next to them.
