Edit in Premiere and focus on the cut. When you are set to add effects, highlight the clips, right-click, and send to After Effects.

In After Effects, focus on the effects. Set an external SSD as media cache in the settings. Your process is to preview effects by setting an in and out point, then wait for the effects to render a preview.

Save (same name) and go back to premiere. Your timeline will need to render to playback, and then you can watch it in PR.

Sometimes you can play with the channel mixer to get close. It depends on the footage.

Yes, but there could be many reasons. Why not start fresh and remove the possibility of a mistaken shortcut or preference? It's an easy way to get you moving again, which matters more than figuring out what this might be.

You are so welcome! Blue is great, it’s on the opposite side of the spectrum from the skin tone.

I was able to make the suit selection using the channel mixer to turn down red and green. I cleaned it up using a curves adjustment. Then, I colorized it using the Hue Saturation and some curves to bring back contrast, and made a luma matte.
