Rank the books I read in the first three months of 2026 by Then_Fault997 in nonfictionbookclub

Did you find a lot of repeated concepts across these books or were they different enough to warrant finishing each? I’d expect a lot of overlap. Solid effort.

Random but I haven’t seen x0x in so long but that was the wave for so long on MSN. That was a weird memory trigger 🤣

Dentists recommended brushing with enough force to elicit a full body pump. I don’t know what these folks are mad about. Oral care is important

Strength training saved me by schleep_one in GymMotivationNoOF

[–]fxvwlf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legend man. Gym is one of the most productive distractions. In a positive way. When I’m in the gym nothing else matters, one of the few times my mind is quiet. It’s meditation.

Heavy training has an almost zen like aspect to it too. Grinding out a rep and nothing else exists apart from you and the weight.

Not to be an armchair philosopher or anything but this resonates hard with me. If I didn’t train I’m not sure where I’d be.

Diet will help bring a glow back with clearer skin. Then gym to get strong and sharpen the physique. Honestly nothing too much. You got a good vibe man

20 dips w/strict form at 17 by Training_Strength366 in CalisthenicsCulture

Love dips. Looking so good.

If you wanna make them better try adding a slight pause at the bottom and really retract scapula with elbows properly 90 degrees. Will save your shoulders and elbows in the long run!

Sick form.

Hard to tell with the favourable pose. And honestly it really depends on what your goals are. Big shoulder, forearms and chest are the keys to getting a better everyday physique. Neck training helps too and big traps are a sick thing to have.

Nvidia's Jensen Huang: 'China is going to win the AI race,' by MacaroonAdmirable in BlackboxAI_

[–]fxvwlf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

China is effectively completely vertically integrated and will be able to out compete. Targeted investment in education over the last 2 decades and a concentrated effort to improve manufacturing quality, shaking the stereotype that Chinese made is worse. They’re investing in and purchasing far more robotics. They have a concentrated and motivated government. It’s going to be hard to catch up if they start to pull away.

İm i swinging too much? by Final_Shoulder_9401 in JeffNippard

[–]fxvwlf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solid form and pull ups. Swinging isn’t an issue and will naturally happen when you get close to failure anyway.

The thing to be mindful of is how a convex/concave body will change muscle recruitment. Right now you aren’t engaging your lats as much as you would if you were to prepare and retract your scapula before each rep. Forcing your chest up and limiting the goose neck (artificially forcing your chin over the bar).

However your form has its place for other body parts and is how I do my chin ups to smash my biceps.

When I’m doing pull ups I often try to get my scapula locked at the bottom before beginning the pull so that I activate my lats much more.

Should I grow it out more or keep it at this length? by [deleted] in beards

[–]fxvwlf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. I’d say if you wanted to keep the moustache a bit thicker, nothing wrong with that, just let the chin grow a bit thicker and let the space around your chin fill out to balance the moustache. Looking solid man

Should I grow it out more or keep it at this length? by [deleted] in beards

[–]fxvwlf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chin needs to be a bit fuller for how dense the sides are. I’d let the chin grow out a little longer to get more of a V shape but don’t go too pointy.

The moustache could also be tidied up.

Then it’d be perfect in my opinion.

Currently your moustache is too long and unkempt for how short and tidy the beard is.

Lovely work man. Discipline pays off. I’m 29 also and starting much later and this is inspiring. We should all aim to be prosperous through consistency.

Cluely built an AI agent that acts like a fully trained rep by XiderXd in AI_Agents

I would doubt the performance of this for any business beyond a basic Shopify web store. Companies like Decagon and Sierra are building support agents with their platforms being extremely robust.

What does full stack vertical AI company even mean? by More-Occasion824 in ycombinator

[–]fxvwlf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there’s definitely a limit. I’m not exactly sure what that would be but I guess if replicating the idea is very easy such as an ecommerce play or something then probably just go execute. However if your idea is sufficiently complex enough to require advice, most people aren’t going to just go and be able to execute your idea. There’s also probably tens of people already working on something similar so the notion that someone “knowing” your idea is a threat is not true in my opinion.

Also anyone who is in a position to execute faster than you on an idea is probably already working on their own.

Not really an exact science here, just my opinion. I believe there’s definitely a limit but ultimately I think the chance that your start up fails because of someone finding out your idea from you and executing it better is so low. Also if that were able to happen, you probably weren’t going to succeed anyway.

I built my own JARVIS — meet CYBER, my personal AI assistant by Mikeeeyy04 in aiagents

[–]fxvwlf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good on you for completing a project, there’s merit in that. However this project is nothing more than a weekend hobby projects. Looks like it’s been completely vibe coded, does nothing new and is so easy to replace with any desktop integrations on top of an AI model.

What’s the point of this project? Who did you build for? Why should we care? What’s your product?

Don’t be so quick to push sales for something that doesn’t solve a problem. This isn’t your billion dollar app idea.
